From Moderate to Deluxe!

Hi all!

My fiancé and I have been bumming over the idea of staying at a moderate for our Disneymoon in a few months. Yes I know-we are definitely those horrible deluxe resort snobs. I'm so embarrassed!

We called Disney juuuust for old times sake to see what was available within a reasonable price range and we were able to upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge!!! We are SUPER excited to be staying deluxe, especially here since it'll be our first stay at the WL. A standard view wasnt available so we snagged a Courtyard view room. We do already have an Artist Point ADR which will also be a first for us. Any WL goer tips???

Great choice! From the amazing lobby to the boat ride to the MK, there are so many things to enjoy about the WL. The restaurant Whispering Canyon is loud and fun with good food. The quick service restaurant is small but has adequate offerings and is close to the pool and on your way if you are coming to or from the boat dock. The bus service has been, for the most part, excellent when compared to a moderate resort. I love a courtyard view room because enjoy sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings with a beverage or a cup of coffee. Best wishes to you both and have a wonderful Disneymoon!

This is what I'm afraid of! Not being able to go moderate again LOL

I said that our trip after this next one in November, we will splurge a little and stay at WL. The price isn't as bad as GF or Poly. I have always been blown away with this resort when visiting!
