Yeah...post vacation blues suck. We just came back from the outter banks of NC. Loved it. The wife is in a depressive funk, kids are very cranky, hard to get back into the swing a work. Oh well, heading to CA and four days at DL resort in February...Yeah something to look forward to.

Wife says she always needs to have a vacation planned, even if it is a long way off. It gives her something to look forward to.

Back for 5 days.... work + jet lag don`t mix. So many happy memories, but it always goes too fast even though we burn the candle at both ends (okay.. I do, Michelle gets a break and packs me off to Epcot to take pics)

12 months to go until DLP, then back to WDW in 2 years for a few days on our way to Anahiem :D

Post- wdw blues are terrible. I tried to not think about Disney but it was too hard. One month ago today my trip had started.

Anyone else get motion sick reading the OP?

[back to topic]:

We usually go out with a bang when leaving WDW - make our final rounds through the countries of Epcot (taking in all there is to drink, of course) and then off to the airport.
We're always fighting back the tears while we pass under the "Walt Disney World" entrance sign and then it's down in the dumps for at least a good week.
The one saving grace is looking through all of our pictures (while I should be working! :lookaroun ).
Thank goodness we'll be going later this year - I miss WDW so much it hurts!

Yep...

My DW and I made our last trip this past May, we stopped in Savannah, GA, then we did Vero Beach and SSR for a celebration of our 27th wedding anniversary (a repeat of our honeymoon roadtrip)...since then...I've only been on this web site maybe twice. It's because I have to try really hard to not think about WDW so I can get back to work without the distraction of my inner child (which is huge by the way). When I have a Disney trip planned, people here at work think I'm nutz!!!:p To them I probably go overboard. To me...I"M GOING TO WDW!!!:sohappy:

Anyway, I banked some points already from this year from my DVC membership for my DD's honeymoon in June of 09 and as soon as they decide how many they need, I'm planning the next trip...Hmmmm...Thanksgiving and the week after sounds like a plan. A two-bedroom villa should accommodate everyone...then there are the park tickets to think about, do we drive or fly...

Darn...there I go again...back to work.:brick:

Yea reading that post hurt a little hehe.

Very much so, always get post WDW blues. They usually last a week then I can just sorta accept it (and hopefully start planning next years). Planning your next trip always seems to help, at that point you know your heading back eventually.
