It looks OK...

But I woulda at LEAST been excited about the old concept for the building.Using the ABC Facade just seems overused and cheap.

Thank you for the info, though Steve!

No official confirmation of a change in exterior concept yet. :)

Not going to lie, I'm just can't get excited about an attraction whose show I do not like. But, at least there doing something with the space, and millions of fans can't be wrong I guess. I'm just not going to visit it and enjoy the hundred other rides at WDW. To each his/her own.

Dose anyone know how the attraction will go down? I.e. do You have to stand in line to get in the theatre for x amount of shows a day or is it just a continues all day thing? Will there be a screening process before people can get on stage or will they allow bad singers up there too? How are they judged: by a pannel or by the crowd? any who asking because contrary to previous post my wife told me I have to go to it because she loves American Idol. Oh well.

Perhaps that square thing is the new billboard that WDI is working on for the side of the GMR which they recently pulled a permit on.

I'm very interested in seeing the final result. I actually hope the concept comes off exactly as planned. I think it will add some kinetic energy to the area.

Thanks for posting Steve!

I'm not a big AI fan anymore - I used to love it. I'm still interested in how the ride will turn out though. It's always nice to see something new going in to a park. I'm sure I'll check it out when it opens - as long as the line doesn't resemble TSM's line :)

I actually like the blue better than the green of the old ABC Theater. It makes the building look more crisp and clean.

Yea, Im not excited about this show either. I used to watch the show, but stopped once they allowed people in that shouldnt have been in. But I hope it does some good for mgm because it kinda needs it.

I have zero interest in this attraction. :snore:

My big concern has been that huge obnoxious outdoor screen intruding on my Disney state of mind. My opinion is, it will do ok at first, drawing in those who are curious about a new attraction and want to see what it's all about. Once the newness wears off, I think it'll fizzle quickly. But then...what do I know? If it is popular, that just means less people standing in line ahead of me elsewhere!

I mean, thanks for the info and pics, Steve, but I really couldn't care less about this new "attraction." As long as it makes the wait for RnRC shorter, I'll be happy.

After reading this post, I realized I sounded somewhat rude in my own above. :o I always appreciate the information and pics Steve and everyone else share here. My comments were a statement of opinion on the attraction itself and not meant to say that I found the information uninteresting.
