French Wishes!

[DLP Fan]

Wishes firework spectacular recently arrived at Disneyland Paris. Although the show is similar to the Magic Kingdom version there are some differences. Apparently the large fireworks have had to be cut back due to the close proximity of housing in the surrounding villages. Another is the projections that appear on the castle. I was just curious as to the possibility of any of these additions coming to Walt Disney World. Anyone know if it is possible?

The image and laser projections onto the castle were amazing! But where were all of the fireworks?? It would have made for an amazing show with some more fireworks and the castle projections, but seems to fall short with less fireworks.

I'm sure they added the projections to make up for the lack of fireworks..

i dont' think they really need the projections at WDW, really. The fireworks and the castle lighting effects they have now do a great job in telling the story.

Defuniteallly :animwink:. The projections on the castle are amazing. That and the laser work--both are simply astonishing. I have to agree that the projections make up for the lack of large fireworks, but both parks do a great job of telling the story with the means possible. This version is shorter than WDW's though. Now that I've watched the entire thing, I'm not sure if I like the tons of projections--it leaves much less to the imagination. Anyways...

I`ve posted some tech info on DLP`s Wishes in the `How do They do that` forum - feel free to ask any questions (we flew back from DLP last night)

The show is very different to Florida`s, only the music is the same. If you expect WDW Wishes, you`ll be let down. If you want a great show to end a great day it`s fantastic. Multi angle vid soon!

Thanks for the video!:wave: I would at least want them to add the lazers to WDW's Wishes. I love the lazers! But there were too many projections. It was like watching a movie. Too bad they can't have any high fireworks.

I really like the fiber optic lights on the castle. Very pretty.
