Freeze Warning Tonight (2/17 night - 2/18 morning)

I drive through Tinley every time I drive my DD down to University of Illinois Champaign.

My brother graduated there a long time ago. I haven't been back down there in a long ( late 80's) time but it used to be a very pretty area.

I was back in Tinley about 6 years ago in July. My mom's condo was right by the rail station.

Saw so many people not properly dressed for the cold yesterday. Lots of folks in shorts and t-shirts. Also, yesterday was not only cold and windy as anything, but also last night there was literally NO ONE at MK after wishes. Rode Space and BTMRR alllll night long through 2am EMH. Cold, foggy, empty and AWESOME.

The University of IL is still drop dead gorgeous. Surrounding area kinda blighted, pretty high crime too. So my DD still lives on campus instead of an apartment.

I saw bits of Live Kelly today. She had a coat, hat, gloves scarf and was talking about how wonderful the weather was down there and what a great place to vacation. Normally true but they had been prerecording all weekend segments. It was Florida Cold! Both her and Michael toured the parks for several days prior and they were all NY bundled.
