OK getting back to this and I would really like to hear your response, this link is definitly your site. So you have the logo mentioned as well as an image of an older Walt Disney World image showing the symbols of the first 3 parks (Castle, SSE and the Earful Tower) with the text Walt Disney World underneath it. Did you get permission for those images? Are they your's to do as you please?

I just don't get why you would start pointing out what others are discussing as wrong and you are doing it yourself? That would be like a person on the street confronting a smoker saying you really are not aloud to smoke in this public place and then you take your flask out and down some vodka on the same street corner.

OK, just real quick question for you. Are the links in your signature to your site? in this one http://www.giveneyestosee.com/m/photos/disney/ that logo that says Disney made up with the characters likenesses if you want to call it that. Is that copyright infringement? If it is your site are you infringing? If it is not your site and you feel so strongly about this issue, why link to it?

Just wondering?

Oh my! All of this from a single question about wearing a t shirt in the parks!

The original question was answered a long time ago... something would probably be said to the wearer of said shirt and they would probably be asked to change it (as has happened in the past with questionable shirts).

Instead of arguing maybe we should move on.

i like the idea someone else had, so i'll merge mine with theirs:

wear it, bring a back up shirt, wear a jacket over it through the main gate then take your jacket off (keep back up shirt with you at all times) lol :D

Just following up to say I really hope Miss M can enlighten us more on her understanding of the copyright laws and how they are not open to interpretation. From what I was gathering she says there is no room for interpretation and the law is the law. And the law states we can not even use images that are not our own created by Disney or whomever even for personal use stating that it is just as bad as if you were making money off of it.

Well as I questioned already why do you have these images on your Disney related site that were created by Disney when according to you we should not be doing that? But one step further, on your Disney site that you use said images you are accepting money via PayPal. I am trying to figure out how that fits into the whole scheme of things?

Hopefully you can explain it better so I and others can understand so we don’t fall into the evil trap we were heading for making shirts and wearing them. Please help!

Thanks.

I know I'll probably hate myself in the morning... but I just couldn't resist...

All of the ideas for the shirts are great, but I have to say I like this one the best. By the way, I called Rice University earlier, and they said I had gained 3 hours credit towards my law degree for reading this thread.

You got it.

Sorry, I guess I just taken back by the not practicing what you preach while lecturing others thing.

I am done with it but would still like to see other's ideas on shirts to create. :)

I did some searching and if you are interested there are many Disney licenced products you can get to make your own clothing.

Hewlett Packard sells something called HP Iron-Ons with Disney Characters, here is one place you can buy it.

http://focuscamera.com/camera-store/hp-iron-ons-with-disney-characters-letter-size-q5523a.html

Also you can purchase Disney Iron-ons at both Amazon and Jo Ann Fabrics though from Amazon it is still coming from Jo Ann Fabrics.

http://amazon.com
http://www.joann.com/

Or if you want to get really serious, Brother makes several Disney embriodering machines and you can buy tons of cartridges with Disney images for making your own Disney clothing, bags, what have you though it is expensive.

http://Brother.com

So there you have it if you want create your own Disney fashions. In fact I think with the Brother one you can resell but you would need to ask Brother for sure as I could be wrong.

If anybody makes anything, I would love to see it. :)

I think you'll be fine if you wear a "Free Tigger" t-shirt. I have seen people wear worse stuff. (I saw one guy wearing a shirt of a hand flipping the bird.)

They used to sell, and probably still do, T-shirts in AK that said in Spanish, 'Tigger, eres tu?'. Maybe you could have one that says 'Tigger, eres libre?' or 'Tigger, estas libre?', whichever is correct.

The security guards probably would not catch that one.

:)

That's a cool idea. Personally, I am tired of irresponsible parents blaming someone else for their child(ren)s actions. Everyone else is at fault but them! The saddest things is that this is a reflection of what goes on outside the parks. I've talked to a cast member who had to return a Tigger head because some kid whacked him so hard that he broke it. Where was the parent/"responsible" adult when this happened.?? Where was attendant?? I'll stick to driving a bus. No becoming a character for me. At least security or even Orange County sheriff can be contacted and something will happen if I am being assaulted. Disney needs to focus on cast member safety as well as guest safety. Right now they are too afraid to offend someone.

Now to play devil's advocate, some of the security guards can read spanish very well, HOWEVER it is a free country. If they are going to turn you away, then they should turn away every inappropiately dressed person that shows up at the tables. You'd have to be blind not to see some of the things that are worn in the parks in the summer months, no offense to anyone out there who is blind!!! There are appropiate clothes for water parks and appropriate clothes for theme parks and the two should not intertwine, trust me. I bet any guest service location can provide a very clear description of the dress code for our parks. The problem is no one is willing to enforce it for fear of causing offense.

I wonder about our security guards. Sometimes I think their hands are really tied. Otherwise why aren't the escorting the last group of tourists out of MK when it's been closed for two hours? I know, it's all about the almighty $$$ but really, why do we have to have our buses sitting out in the load zones burning fuel for a group of guests that decide they want to take a picture of themselves in all the hats available in the Emporium but don't buy a single one!!
:hurl:
There are more stories I can tell you but that's my favorite!!

I have to agree, water park wear and park wear should be two different things. And somethings shouldn't be worn in eitherr. I have been on line with my daughter in Fantasyland and have some high teen / low twenty something aged girl in front of us with a g string on sticking out of the back of her pants. Nice thing to have right at kid eye level in the Magic Kingdom.

I do think that CMs in general are afraid to confront guests as I have seen people smoking in non smoking areas and have a CM walk right past and not say a word. Part of that is the response they may get from the guest which might not be so nice.

Back to the Tigger shirt in spanish, what does that say as I can't read it?

The first one says "Tigger, is that you?". If I'm not mistaken, they sell those in English as well. Those shirts are too cute.

The second one (the suggested one) says, "Tigger, are you free?"
