 Can't say that I know too many people that get so excited about the painting of the underside of a bridge. Gotta love the enthusiasm!

Thanks for the update!

They most likely have a few of these in storage from the closed DisneyQuest in Chicago, or were they used somewhere else?

That may very well be, but I wouldn't think that they wouldn't want the same exact thing that they have over in DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney. I just thought it was ironic that CommuniCore used to have touch screens where you put together your own roller coaster.

I can't figure out why they would put the make-your-own-coaster in there when it's at DQ and essentially the big draw to DQ.

To note, Burnham STILL doesn't have a home in Epcot though it was part of the contract.

Thanks for the update merf. And you are not alone in taking joy over the underside of the bridge being painted. Awesome to see!

:sohappy::sohappy: Yes! They painted the bridge! Its about time, and very welcomed.:sohappy::sohappy:

DVC is really coming along, too. Thanks for the update, Merf! BTW, that's a really nice monorail/Epcot shot.

If they would just now clean the monorail beam as it's disgusting! I know it can be done because in front of the Magic Kingdom it's spotless! Everywhere else, it looks just nasty! Why can't they at least clean the beams that are visible to the guests!!!???

I think they are technically clean in Epcot - at the front entrance to the park you can see where it changes color (from ultra-grimey to semi-clean) as it enters and exits the park proper.

I guess what i'm seeing, since i am having problems telling where they line up, is that the first floor appears to take up two levels of scaffold.

Well, you can't really go by the scaffolding, because standard scaffolding is usually about 6 or 8 feet tall.

I've taken your photo and edited it a bit to show what I meant, including a crude drawing of the bracket that's still to be mounted, an outline of where I think the bridge will connect to the new tower, and numbering the floors:
