OK, in fact it's likely whatever week you're going is associated with a busy holiday period and they don't need to entice guests because they know they'll fill the resorts.

It might have been due to my praying every night for the last 4 months for free dining on November 12th.

Bought my flights on 03/02/10 for Nov 12th to stay for 10 nights and made ADR's at 180 Days.

Yesterday was my lucky day.

That's about how I'm feeling right now...first a 40% off pin code for room rates that only applies for our last day of travel...and now free dining only good for half of our days of travel. I'm waiting to hear back from my travel agent to see if we can split our reservation and cash in on the free dining for the last few days of our trip. I wonder if I'll need to put down another $200 depost to secure the second half of the ressie to split this and get the free dining for those days.:shrug:

I read that if you are arriving on a day in which it applies then you can get it for your whole trip.

Promotions like this are based on booking rates. The most logical reason that those particular weeks are blacked out is because Disney is not having trouble filling rooms during those weeks and does not feel the need to offer a discount.

Yeah unfortunately the free dining applies before and I get there and after I leave. Really stinks.
