I was literally dancing around my living room last night! And the reservationist I got, was AMAZING! The code I got initially didn't work, but he tried a couple different things and it finally went through! I'm soooooooo flipping excited!

Free dining was actually extended on July 5th or 6th. I wonder why they waited so long to send out pin codes and also why they sent them out at all - anyone can just call and add the free dining, no need for a pin. :shrug:
We had a pin for 40% off but because we're in a value resort it was was cheaper for us to switch to the free dining and then upgrade to the plus package. I didn't need a pin to make the change to free dining.

The free dining recently released for the general public didn't include all dates. The dates the OP and I have were left off of that free dining for the gen pub + the PINs we'd previously received for 40% off rooms also missed our dates by just a hair. So frustrating- but the frustrations are now over. :sohappy:
@ MillerPoppins- so glad the reservationist was able to make your PIN work. :wave: I emailed mine off to my travel agent and got the glorious email from her middle of the day w/my new trip price. What a great way to boost a semi-miserable day.
That's great it worked out for you like that. Unfortunately, my dates were not included in the first extension and I did have to wait for a pin, that originally didn't even work! Thanks to Thaddeus!
I'm still elated from it. I did the math and we actually ended up saving over $600. I"m still in shock!

i know it is probably because that time frame has enough rooms booked, but anyway they will change this or make some kind of little deal???

Check your email...that's the SAME exact time we are going and they were able to do it for us.

We will be there Oct. 10 to 16. Lets keep hoping. But the fact that they announced dates for the rest of the year, doesn't keep my hopes up.

I know the feeling. We waited for free dining for 11/5-11/12 and the dates came out and no free dining on our days.
Finally changed dates to 11/12-11/17 to get free dining then low and behold I got the pin last night in my email.:sohappy:Then I called this a.m. to change back to original reservation....Then I had to change all our dining reservations back to the first time I made them, since I had just canceled them yesterday. Now we are back on track staying at the POFQ for 8 days 7 nights and 7 day of park passes..WOOHOO

Now I'm confused, how were they able to make it work, or can I assume I didn't get the updated e-mail.
Check your emails for an email with Goofy on it as a chef. I just got it on Tuesday night. Apparently they were just sent out that night. The email that I got said that it was available for "most night through" December.

Decided to take a weekend trip to WDW. Since I received the pin code, the weekend trip just, turned into a week long trip.
