Found Friar Tuck

I remember, when on my senior class trip in '91, I got a silent scolding from Friar Tuck for my playful tug of Eeyore's tail. I bowed my head, said "Bless me, friar, I have sinned," and he patted my head and forgave me.

Yeah, Mecha was a little off on that.

Friar Tuck used to be at Epcot when the DCOH bus used to be around. Don't worry, you're not going nuts :)

Yea, thanks, I never thought I was going nuts lol:p

I forget that they got rid of that bus, do they even show it at opening. I forget when was the last time I was there for the opening. I think it was Spring Break this year, and Im sure I saw it, have they done away with it sense then.

We also just got back and saw Friar Tuck near the Dole Whip stand. After we got our autograph and pic, we stood there for a few minutes deciding where to go next and we overheard a father say to his kids AFTER they had already met friar tuck, "Who was that?" Kids reply: "I don't know" Dad: "Let's look at his signature... Hmmm.... Oh, It's Father Time, That's so cool!" :brick:

It kills me sometimes that so little people know about my favorite Disney movie. A ride or little show like that one in Fantasyland would be nice. Fortunately, the characters get some exposure. I know Robin, Friar Tuck, and the Sheriff are usually out. Do they have a Little John or Prince John?

Heh, I remember my first trip to Disney in '92, when I was 5, me and my parents were in the Magic Kingdom, and the Sheriff came along, and started taking stuff from the little kids, like the scrunchie from some little girl. I didn't get to see how it panned out, since my parents went in the opposite direction with me, but I did see Robin come in right before I left. Tuck was there, and I think I might have seen LJ and PJ, but I was so young I might not be remembering completely.

... now I want to go watch the movie. *sings (as much as you can sing) the Whistle Stop and walks off*

Ive seen Prince John before at MK in fact I think it was on my last trip he was out in Adventure Land.
I do have a question. Is it just me or does the Stitch character look really odd?, I got a photo with stitch last fall and it looks like Im bending over to put my arm around a little kid and there is no meat on stitchs bones.

I do have to say though my favorite character memory will be chip and dale at MGM last Feb. those guys were so funny and spent like 10 mins just messing around to get the photo with my girlfriend and I.

I can tell you right now:
Kronk-No chance
Sebastian-Not a meet and greet character
Jiminy Cricket-Try Fantasyland or Italy
Koda-He's in Camp Minnie Mickey at AK or Canada in Epcot with Kenai.
Rabbit-Very Rare, if he's out it's usually in Toontown, but there's not much of a chance of seeing him.
Thats my point, there are awesome characters that are never seen. I know I have a very small chance of seeing any new characters that I haven't seen yet. But I know I will see all the same characters in the same spots as the last couple of years. Does anyone really care about seeing Foul Fellow or Gideon? Not that it wouldn't be cool every now and then but I'm there 2 weeks every year and they are there all day everyday every year. They have such a small part in the mvie while Jimminy Cricket is very rare.

I have seen pictures of all these characters at meet and greets, including sebastian and flounder. I always look for characters and have found probably 70-100 different ones. I just wish it would be a little different every year. Make different characters avaible on different days. I had to work so hard last year to find Muchu and Terk, I think they appeared once a day for 15 mins.

actualy the only park you can't find the Friar is Epcot. he's everywhere else. you just got to know where to look.

I am actually pretty sure, that I once saw Friar Tuck in England, in the World Showcase with Robin Hood.

Yes, you can all see my pic. Sorry for the late reply, but I've had some internet issues since returning. PM me for my online photo site and you can see it.
