Fort Wilderness Cart Question

Don't know if I'm putting this in the right place, but it's here now...

I heard that Fort Wilderness only allows electric powered golf carts. True or not? I know they don't want the "Rhino" type utility vehicles there, and I can understand that. But my golf cart is gas powered. Do I really have to leave it home and rent one of theirs, or am I good with this one?

Thanks for any guidance...

Gas powered golf carts are allowed, with the exception of "Large, noisy, or utility type vehicles".

Thanks much...I searched all things "Disney" that I could find, and could not locate a clear answer. Doesn't get much clearer than your post...although I must say I have no idea what a "Neighborhood Electric Vehicle" might be...:veryconfu

I'm guessing I don't have one...

I don't know about Rhinos in particular, but I saw some HUGE "golf carts" at FW while I was there the first week of June.

No way they were all the "quiet" type golf carts. I didn't take a photo with any of them, but I think some of our friends did. I'll have to see if they have a picture.

I'm willing to bet that you would be fine as long as you don't rev it up at 5 in the morning!
