It'd be stupid to rush through things, and Disney has a good track record of making sure the final project is up to par before opening it up.

I think they are just as, if not more scared, of empty resort rooms however I do think the FL renovation is Disney's response for now rather than MI.

If you combine the new Liberty Square, with the potential FL renovation/additions to what is happening in Tomorrowland, and I think it all adds up to something much bigger and what quite clearly seems to be a comprehensive plan for the 40th. Jungle Cruise is also rumored to be getting an extensive refurb after the SM/TTA refurbs.

Can't wait for D23 Expo.

See, now THAT I can agree with.:wave: However, I wish there had been more marketing for Liberty Square and without a two year gap. It's only "new" to us or those who have not been to the MK in a few years....like me.:lol:

So these tarps obviously aren't to protect the stage from the Skyway work behind it (there's a whole Peoplemover track in between). And they're not going to rip the whole thing down.

I think we're seeing the preliminary work for giant pylons. They have to add shade before they can use that stage again. They did the same thing with Flights of Wonder.
