Former Disney World Worker Planning to Sue

I don't for a single minute believe that ANY parent would "plan" an injury to their child in hopes of a lucrative settlement! However, I CAN envision a situation where a child is injured because he wasn't following safety regulations and/or the parents failed to supervise their child, and the parents sue because they cannot face up to the fact that their child's injury was, at least in part, THEIR fault. :(

I agree that parents never want to hurt there children in hopes of a lucrative settlement obvoulsy. I just think that maybe Disney should take some safety precautions , such as lapbars that lower as the road moves up. I just feel people need to watch whats going on , and remeber that these rides are heavy machinery, and that they are dangerous, if they do not follow the rules. So i feel that everyone should read the warning signs before they get on any ride.
just so everyone can have a safe and fun time.

Would these also be the same parents who wouldn't dare have their child steal something from a store? The same ones who open closed doors (I saw it with my own eyes), send their child in, follow themselves, and then say they were just trying to follow their child when caught? The excuse both times: "Well.. he/she is only 3..."

Too bad you're like 30 something and told them to do it.

There should be a parenting liscense that can be revoked.
