Does anyone have a list of characters who use to meet who no longer do. I love looking back at character history of people i could have met and even characters i still might be able to meet one day if they have rare appearances
I don't have an actual list, but I do know that in the 90's my kids saw more characters and were able to get photos and autographs:
Suzy & Perla Mouse (Main Street USA/Toontown Fair)
Dopey w/Snow White (Main Street USA/Toontown Fair)
Sheriff of Nottingham (Main Street USA)
Friar Tuck (Main Street USA)
Prince John (Contemporary...Chef Mickey's & Main Street USA)
Smee & Captain Hook (Toontown Fair)
Quasimodo (Animation Courtyard/Streets of America)
Esmeralda (Animation Courtyard/Streets of America)
Clopin (Streets of America)
Captain Phoebus (Animation Courtyard)
Pocahontas & John Smith (Toontown Fair)
Meeko (DHS Entrance)
Timon (DHS Entrance)
Rafiki (DHS Entrance)
King Louie (Fantasyland)
Baloo (Fantasyland)
Belle w/Beast (Mickey Ave)
Roger Rabbit (Main Street USA)
Chip & Dale (Main Street USA)
Dreamfinder & Figment (Imagination Pavilion)
Gideon & Honest John (World Showcase entrance)
Geppeto & Pinocchio (World Showcase entrance)
There were others and of course the regulars...Fab 5 and Princesses.
The characters should all be out just roaming the parks. Alot do at dl and they don't get swarmed!!!!
But DL has a different type of clientele. WDW has more of the: "I paid good $$$$ for this, so my daughter had BETTER get her picture taken with Cinderella or else!" type of crowds. Thus, changes had to be made. The characters should all be out just roaming the parks. Alot do at dl and they don't get swarmed!!!!
And that is really too bad and kinda sad. I remember when I was a kid the characters always roamed wdw.Unfortunately things are a LOT different at DL then they are at WDW. It's not safe for characters to roam around at WDW
Yes agreed to an extent but when I go to dl is costs almost double the price I pay at wdw.But DL has a different type of clientele.
