forgot to pack

So, I'm packing.

What things have you forgot to pack?

I know I'm forgetting something....

Back in December I forgot to pack hairspray. It wouldn't have been a huge deal except that I was counting on it to "glue" glitter into DD2's hair since she was too young to do BBB like her big sis. I also forgot one of my favorite shirts.

When we went last month, I forgot my favorite pair of shorts. I guess at least when it comes to forgetting clothing- I tend to overpack, so I'm well covered...literally! :ROFLOL:

All my credit cards (THAT was a treat. In WDW for a week, with about $50 in cash and no credit cards at all)

Tickets!!!! We drove from NC to FL and when we were halfway remembered that we forgot to put the tickets in the suitcase. Thankfully AAA was along the way to Orlando.

Upside-we had them to use the next time.

I have forgotten my hair brush on one trip a few years ago and this past trip I left my razor behind. I hate disposable...but had to use one.

I seem to concentrate on forgetting footwear for I have forgotten;

Sneakers, for our honeymoon I flew down to Florida in a suit, when I got there I realized that I had forgotten to pack sneakers and only had dress shoes. No wanting to look like my grandfather by wearing dress shoes with shorts I purchased a pair of sneakers in the Grand Floridian men’s boutique.

Sandals/Flip Flops, but now I have a great pair with Mickey on them!

My DW always forgets things like sun tan lotion, deodorant and dental floss. She must forget about hygiene on vacation but DS and I remind her.

My DS forgot to pack a belt to hold up his pants when he wore shorts with an elastic waist on the flight down to Florida. We went to BVG and purchased one.

a belt.
band aids.

extra hair ties.
cold medicine.
kleenex.

One year I did not pack my husband a single shirt!! I always just left his on hangers and I had them laying out in our spare bedroom and left them there! He literally had the shirt on his back and that was it!:lol: Needless to say, he came home that year the proud new owner of several Disney shirts!!!

Worst was a winter trip when I forgot to pack shoes for my son Morgan. He was singularly unimpressed waiting in line at DAK to check in wearing fleece-lined winter boots!

We bought him a nice pair of sandals shortly thereafter in the DAK store.

Being a semi-paranoid traveler, I packed a change of clothes in my carry-on last February, with all of my other clothes, and DW and DS5's in the big suitcase. Turns out I had forgotten to actually put all of my socks and underwear in the suitcase. Our flight from EWR to MCO had been cancelled due to snow in the Northeast, so I rebooked on a flight to TPA later that day, and our first stop was a lovely Target near I-4 in Tampa to restock my forgotten items. We leave in 10 days for BLT, my suitcase has been packed for three weeks, and yes, it contains socks and underwear (I have checked many times!:drevil

You want to know what you're forgetting? I guarantee you that it's most likely some kind of charging device or cord.

You should go count them all right now.

Not really something I forgot to "pack" per se, but one morning a few years ago driving down to Animal Kingdom, I realized I forgot to put on deoderant :ROFLOL:

Needless to say our first stop was AKL instead of the park. They had one kind, the kind my dad wears, so I walked around that day smelling like my father!!

But at least I didn't smell like the family I stood next to on the monorail last month :hurl:

went for 21 days and forgot our sons shorts. we brought 4 pair, including what he had on! did lots of laundry late at night at AKL. the fun, the fun.

Just came from WDW last week.

Things not to forget.
1. Phone Charger / Spare Battery
2. Camera Charger / Spare Batteries or both. A pack of 4 AA's are $15.
3. Printout of Confirmation #s
4. Prepurchase your photopass before you leave if you're into that. Save's $$$
5. Sunscreen / Aloe Vera Gel
6. Spare Shoes (In my party of 8, someone ends up needing new shoes halfway through vacation. This trip my daughters sandals broke on Day 1)
7. Pack an empty duffle bag in a suitcase in case you end up with too many souvenirs.
8. Trash Bag for dirty bathing suits/clothes on the way home.
9. Rolaids and Immodium (Diet change @ Disney, and someone guaranteed will end up with stomache issues)
