As someone else mentioned in the other thread about Forbidden Mountain, the name really does sound like it could be a ride for Beastly Kingdom--the name just feels liek it coulb be themed to dragons. So maybe the rumor was just mxied up and put in Asia. Well, hopefully we will find out soon one way or the other.

honestly....I didn't like the idea of beastly kingodm.....

they already had the Dino part...
and it may have seemed like they were trying to copy IOA...u kno with the Lost Continent and the Dueling Dragons ride.....

either way...I'm all for Disney adding a new e-ride to AK....it's still not a full day theme park if u ask me....

So whateva they put in..I'm sure will be awsome...

Can anyone can give us some solid "proof" this is going to happen? Rumors are building up to "something" IS going in AK soon..but when??? I also want to add that I don't understand how parks like Cedar Point can build major coasters in less than a year..in the SNOW, but Disney takes 3-4 years to build Mission:Space. Please don't blast me, I LOVE Disney and it's parks, just looking for feedback.:veryconfu

I think most of the frontal work is done. I think they are concentrating on the interior, and the actual ride.

Anyone can build a coaster.
Disney is building an experience for the mind and body.
Something you will never forget and will make you come back again and again.
There are very few coaster's like that.
It's not just a ride it's an adventure.:D

I really hope this a wooden coaster themed to a mine train. Orlando really needs a wooden coaster and with good theming it could be a success. However, if it's tubular steel, I think that would be a bad move as it wouldn't be much different from the Thunder Mountain or Matterhorn rides.

Cedar Point just makes coasters, Disney makes kick @$$ themed rides that take a while to make, but it is worth all the wait, think aboutit what would you rather ride a non themed coaster or a themed coaster at Disney:D

Personally, I see Disney putting the Indiana Jones Ride that is at Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, AND Disneyland Paris (if I'm correct) at the Animal Kingdom. There are really popular attractions. I've never ridden the ride, but I've been told that it's pretty cool.

Who knows what Disney is really doing??? For all we know they could take the technology they use in the Winne the Pooh ride to make the honey pot bounce like Tigger and make your car bounce like a kangaroo for a Austrailian themed ride.

All we can can do is watch, wait, and go to Disney and spend our life savings so that they can have enough money to build the ride!

I don't think that a wooden roller coaster would work very well in Orlando, between the heat, humidity, and rain. I think that steel would be much more durable than wood, but I don't know too much.

I would think it'd be too loud for the animals.

DL and TDL Indy has a ride system like Dinosaur.. DLP has a looping faux wooden "mine" themed rollercoaster

I think the indy coaster from DLP could fit into asia very well. The theme is a lost asian temple, sort of like KRR and the rest of asia. They could find some way to tie it into animals. (like the snakes from the indy movies or something)

The weather doesn't effect it to where it wouldn't be built. Gwazi, Dania Beach Hurricane, and Starliner all do fine and they are in FL... This is not a problem. As for bring too loud for the animals, possibly. Cheetah is right next to animals at Wild Adventures, but the animals don't mind. They can be fairly quiet rides, and if it's half enclosed, that would cut the sound down a lot. I think it could still be done maybe as a rehahs of the Excavator concept.

BK will not be a theme park, but will be a land within AK

IMO, I think that is because Disney has most of its construction, especially if it is going to be very loud (like demolition work) done when the guests are not around, like at night. I mean if you are on vacation in Disney, do you want to hear explosives and wrecking balls. Anyway, its just my opinion and a guess.

I believe that DisneyDudette KNOWS that BK will be WITHIN AK...she's just stating that EVEN THOUGH they've built new attractions, it is STILL not a full day park.

Right DD?
