Hmm, I still seem to remember the transitions being snappier, so while you still saw the screen edges, you had less time to see them? I guess I could be wrong. The main thing that disappointed me in my most recent ride and made me start this thread is how bad all of the projections looked. Even the ones in the queue looked faded. Odd treatment of their flagship attraction, especially considering everything else at UO generally looks great.I rode the ride on the first day it was officially open and I can tell you you were always able to see the edges of the screens during transitions. I really don't know how they could hide them. If you looked over you could also see the mechanism holding the ride vehicle closest to you if you sat on the far left side.
I can't speak for everyone, but I try to only bring things up that are broken or in need of adjustment for extended periods of time. The projections on FJ have looked kind of poor for a while and they only seem to be getting worse.I feel like this is a really big problem at both Disney and universal stemming from the Internet. These days the second any effect breaks down people post about it online and everyone laments lack of maintenance.
I don't see the harm in reporting long-term broken effects or things that need work on the internet, though. If anything, it perhaps holds them accountable to try to stay on top of things. I say this a lot on here, and I'll say it again, you're paying premium prices for these experiences, so there is no excuse for them to not make the effort to make the attractions - the main thing you're paying for - look as good as possible.
(the show quality of UOR's attractions is generally very good and definitely better than WDW"s, so I don't want people to take this thread as Universal bashing)
