Im talking about those with over 10 visits...

Now that you've enjoyed the park enough times to disect the details and see it all, what do you do at the parks that could be considered "new"?

Im set to go in November on what will be my 14th visit, and the last two visits i started to become a hidden mickey hunter, but have not joined the pin collecting group. Other than those two activities, is there anything else you do to keep the visits fresh? Or is it more about just being there, which is also very satisfying in its own right.

*This November trip I get the added bonus of going with 3 newbies, so i get to enjoy it for the first time through them, which will be a blast!

Since its usually my husband and myself, its nice to sometimes go with newbies or children. They normally haven't seen many of the rides or attractions we usually pass on, so we end up doing different things. This year, we are taking our 13 year old niece and she likes to rent a pontoon boat, so we will do that. We try to take in shows, rides or shops we usually fly by. My husband would love to spend more time at the resort (WL), but I have a hard time not being at a park.

I'm also going with newbies this year, something that I am extremely excited about. I've been spending the past week or so trying to get the DB to understand what it is that's so special to me  he's starting to get there I think (at least, that's what him getting into the car singing Gaston signaled to me haha).

I think that even though I'm just shy of 20 trips, there's still going to be things in Disney that I've missed. My trips were all child to teen years, so this will be my first time as an "adult" going, so things like drinking around WS have me excited to go. And some of the tours, which I thought were boring before, I want to go through again and really take the time to soak them in.

I'm also trying to pick a resort that I haven't stayed at before, but one that I know my friends will all enjoy as well, especially so we can enjoy some down time by the pool and such. :sohappy:

On my upcoming trip, I am taking a newbie, eating at some new restaurants and visiting Jellyrolls for the first time.

For me, just enjoying my favorites is enough. I'm the type of person who eats the same thing at certain restaurants, etc. Trying something new doesn't do anything for me. Lol! With that being said...I usually do try to visit one new restaurant each trip. And I've yet to do a MK tour, which I will probably do next year.

I always make sure my family tries one brand new restaurant on each trip. This can lead to problems because the new place usually ends up on the long list of places we "must" do on our next trip. :)

Also taking newbies and youngsters is a great way to freshen up the parks.

We've been to WDW some 30+ times and there is always something new. Our last two trips involved grandchildren who were never at the parks. I can't count the number of times I've been on Splash Mountain but I've never before seen the joy on my grandsons face as we plunged down the flume and his dad got soaked. We have never been to Camp Minnie Mickey before. I had the chance to get even with Dale while there. If we are there alone we try different restaurants, it isn't too hard to find attractions, shop even rides we have never done. Last year we started pin collecting among other things it gives you a chance to stop and talk to cast members and other park goers. Prior to trips we will map out things we haven't done. This September will be our chance to do the revamped Star Tours and Fantasyland is coming. One thing I keep telling myself I need to do is take my camera and forget rides just spend the day photographing the parks. Personally, I don't think you can do everything at all the parks no matter how often you go.

Well I have been well over 100 times and every time I go every trip is special and different in its own way. Weather we try a new restaurant or start the day at a land that we usually finish the day at. I just love being there and taking everything in!!!

DW and I have done different tours on our last couple of trips. We went on the Sunrise Safari, that was amazing! Then we did the Segway tour of Epcot, I didn't want to give the segway back! Our next trip we are letting our DD take a friend who has never been to WDW. DW and I are very excited to take a "newbie"! We are going to do the Behind the Seeds tour on this trip since our DD and her friend really like science. Would like to do another segway tour, but neither of them are old enough.

I always visited with my parents, now for me visiting WDW as an adult is completely different than visiting as a child. I finally can go and show and do what I want to do. I totally agree with stlbobby, it's important to visit a restaurant you've never visited before (we tried the Sci-Fi Dine-In at the Studios in January...AWESOME!). Also, seek out the details that make the World great, for example, the party line phone in the Chapeau in the Magic Kingdom or the key under the mat at the Muppets in the Studios.

We are going with a few newbies that coming August and are so excited to show them the magic! This however will be my 10 visit and I definitely feel like I have a good handle on the parks!

I think exploring the resorts is an excellent new way to enjoy WDW especially since you will be there in Nov. the holiday decor will be going up.

Take some time to stroll the boardwalk area, go mini golfing or actual golfing.

Head over to Fort Wilderness and look at the animals, go for a horse back ride, attend the Hoop Dee Do Revue, or roast some marshmellow with Chip and Dale over at the camp fire sing along.

We tried the picnic in the park meal at AK. It was a nice opportunity to find a quiet place off the beaten path and have a slow paced meal. We plan on doing it again.

We have always done traditional things... stayed around the monorail resorts for years, decided to branch out, stay at another resort, try new restaurants, sometimes schedule a new Disney *exeperience*, (dolphins in depth, segway tours, etc) We have been at Disney World atleast 25 times and STILL haven't done it all. This year we broke out of the norm, staying at Boardwalk villas, even scheduled a specialty cruise for Illuminations, with appetizers and champagne for family members joining us for a few days. There is ALWAYS something new to do at Disney. ;)

Or is it more about just being there, which is also very satisfying in its own right.

Thats it for me. Stick me in a WDW Park and all is right with the world. Once my plane takes off for Orlando I honestly couldn't care whats happening in the world. Not that I really care anyway since I do my best to avoid all forms of news and newspapers. But for the sake of the question.....I have been 32 times, once this year with 2 more trips coming up this year. I'm at the point I'm lucky enough to go 3 times a year. I will try a new restaurant or maybe go back to a restaurant that I have'nt been to for a while. I also like to experiment with different camera angles and settings.

My wife and I love renting a small boat at the marketplace and going for a leisurely 'pootle' up the waterways, a terrific way to get away in relative peace and kill an hour :animwink:

I'm starting to enjoy the dining aspect of the World much more now that I've been visiting for so long. Another great part is that I am now legal, so I have been exploring all the places to get great drinks on property. Lastly, I love exploring all of the resorts, you find some amazing places at some of the resorts you've never thought to stay at. :)
