For DvC renters.... Help needed

Then multiply the points by 14 to get the cost to book with a broker. As I said, if you can find a member to work with you directly, you may get the points as low as $7-8 per, but usually in the $10-12 per range. If by Christmas you mean like Dec 1-14, then that is cheap point time period, but lots of DVC members travel then for that exact reason, so it may be tougher to get your desired room type. You should be able to get something however. If you mean actually at Christmas, that will cost much more.

Well we like MK and Epcot probably the best. Price point I would like to spend less than $150 a night if possible. I think I would like a king size bed so the one bedrooms are looking like our best option.

As others have said, most DVC owners (or companies that facilitate the renting of DVC points) charge $15 per point. Which means you're looking for rooms that average 10 point a night, 70 points a week.

And they don't exist, not in a 1BR. For 69 points you can get a Jambo House Animal Kingdom Lodge Studio Villa for a week in the first half of December.
If you can find someone renting at $13 per point, then you have 80 points to play with for a week stay. That opens up a few more options - a studio in a Standard room at Jambo House (technically 81 points), or Old Key West (not a 1BR, but it's the biggest studio villa) or a standard view at the Boardwalk (not as pretty as a preferred view, but quieter).

This site will tell you how many points it takes to get the resort, room type and season you're looking for. Then multiply that by the dollar per point of the renter or service you're checking out.
