This is the only signature restaurant at WDW that I haven't tried yet, so I made a reservation for my Sept trip.

I would love to hear about your experiences there and I would especially love to see pictures.

Wow, this sounds good! Makes me wish we were doing the DP after all:

Sorry I don't have pictures but I remember the restaurant as being very “open” as in high ceilings and an open kitchen area with granite counter tops. There was a Ferris wheel decoration on one wall and the lights reminded me of parachutes. There were lots of flying fish and seahorse on the walls also, the chairs as I remember had padded seats but not padded backs. As to the food; our DS ordered the mussels for an appetizer DW and I split the veggie sushi appetizer. We also tasted the mussels and both appetizers were very good. DS ordered a steak, go figure. I had the grilled scallops over risotto and DW had the swordfish and we shared grilled asparagus for a side. The dessert menu didn’t thrill any of us so we ordered the cheese platter off of the appetizer menu to end the meal. Overall the meal was very good, I like Fulton’s more as they serve clam chowder, or chowda as it’s pronounced in Boston, as well as lobster or other shellfish dishes that I prefer.

We are also trying this in September! Looking forward to a nice dinner then spending some time watching the performers on the boardwalk!

So you are saving the best for last I see.

FF and Citricos are 1A and 1B as far as I'm concerned when it comes to restaurants on the dining plan (V&A's, Shula's and bluezoo are better, IMO). We have never had a bad meal there. Service was always great for us. It's hard to give recommendations about apps and entrees because they change frequently (except the potato wrapped snapper and the steak). My wife loved the potato wrapped snapper enough to try making it back home a couple of times (she's close but it's not the same). The Chef's Wine Tasting Dinner is great if you ever feel like splurging a little bit.

The Carmelized Banana Napoleon is the best dessert on property, IMO. That alone is worth the visit.
