Flower & Garden vs Food & Wine

I've been to the Food and Wine festival a few times, so I'm familiar with how the crowds can be then, but never been to the Flower & Garden festival. How does it compare with the F&W? Is it just as busy, or is the F&W a bit busier? I'm thinking I might try going for next years if I can (flower and garden).

I have been to both and in my opinion the F&G festival is busier, but that is due to it coinciding with a lot of spring breaks. I still enjoy the F&G festival though as this is when Epcot looks it's best and is at its best.

F&W is basically F&G sans the flowers and presentations. There's a few more food and booze selections at F&W but it seems with each passing year that F&G is getting more as well

If you enjoy beautiful flowers and creatively-themed Disney topiaries, you're in for a real treat at F&G. I've attended quite a few times over the years, and the displays all around Epcot are simply spectacular. (Bring your camera!)

At the Festival Center, there are interactive gardening workshops. There are also horticultural design seminars led by guest speakers from HGTV.

The F & G festival is delightful, and I hope you have an opportunity to experience it this year or next. (It runs through the 18th this year.)

We've been to both and we experience ces FG to be more enjoyable and less crowded. FW was extremely crowded, lots of rude drunks, and it's just not our pace. Enjoy whatever you do!

I was at flower and garden 2 weeks ago and there were some great food offerings and NO lines at any of them! It was great!

I'm going to the F&W this year, and have enjoyed it on my previous visits a lot, but am thinking its about time to visit the Flower and Garden next spring. Besides it might be a nice way to finish off a harsh northern winter by visiting the F&G. I always enjoy seeing the different topiaries around Disney property and if they have more of that kind of thing during the festival I'm sure I'd have a great time.

Visit F&G in early May rather than during Spring Break or Easter time. Lower crowds & more enjoyable. It's definitely beautiful & well done! I've never been to F&W so I can't compare yet. ;)

The Flower & Garden Festival is gorgeous! I love seeing all the topiaries and the butterfly garden, etc.

I also do love the Food & Wine Festival, but it's becoming less and less unique now. They basically have a small portion of the F&W at Epcot during F&G.

Still, F&W has some cool offerings during its run. Last year they had a Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory exhibit at the Festival Center, which was very interesting. I tried their liquid choclate, which was a chocolate lover's dream, but also diabetes in a cup. Let's just say it was "foodgasmic".

Anyway, both Festivals are a blast, and I can't really point out my favorite because they're both lots and lots of fun!

As far as the attendance of the actual festival and the festival events I believe that F&W surpasses F&G. But, as some have said, due to the timing of the festivals, the park is sometimes more crowded during the F&G festival.
