Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

Lately, I've been watching Kevin Heimbach. I think he used to work for WDW, and while he enjoyed it overall, he's pretty honest and straightforward about the cons. And he's knowledgeable and funny.

My faves are still the Carpetbagger and Theme Park Worldwide. Without them, I would not have known about awesome interactive art installations like Meow Wolf or superior (to Disney) theme parks overseas like Phantasialand, Europa Park and Efteling. They're a can't-miss for me.

“I’m going to tell security” LOLLLL okay. More people need to start calling these grifters out. I’m tired of them running around the parks like it’s their own personal movie studio and interrupting guests enjoyment of the parks. It especially needs to be shut down in restaurants. Other guests don’t want to spend their meal listening to you filming a dining review at the next table over.

Why is that any different then people have a conversation at another table?

i don’t mind seeing bloggers in the parks, but some of the comments reminds me of an incident about 8-9 years ago. we were in epcot & there was a guy vlogging (don’t know who he was), & we just couldn’t shake him. it started by mexico & we kept crossing paths even while staying behind so we don’t run into him again. by the time we hit japan, we stayed there for about an hour & thankfully never saw him again.
we just found him to be a bit annoying after awhile, but didn’t want to interrupt him or other guests.

I'm not sure how that Tattle lift forum is allowed to exist? Just constant abuse and made up stories about the Trackers. Day in day out there's post after post stating they hate their son, she drinks all day off camera, they demand stuff everywhere they go and are just a nightmare to deal with. There's no evidence provided and it's just relentless abuse every day and about every video. People wishing terminal illness on them and a post the other week wishing Jenn getting raped.

Worst is post after post saying how it's obvious they don't love their son. One day he'll be able to read that himself or his classmates will and then what damage could that do? Ironically many are female posters saying she's a terrible mother who doesn't care and then describe themselves as wonderful mums. There's no self awareness that by posting these horrible allegations that the child could suffer the consequences of it all in just a few short years. I really don't understand how a hate site like that can exist?
you have to realize to know the detail they know, they must watch every video multiple times and scrutinize it. Why watch something you hate? Worst are the youtube videos where they reedit them to make them almost vile. The vitriol those people have is stunning to me, why waste your life and time on something you have such disdain for.

Bitterness knows no end for some people. Highly disturbing accusations are rampant on that forum.

You ask that on this board?

Interestingly when a Tracker video drops within minutes there's multiple posts saying how fat she's getting, how badly she's dressed, how bad she looks, too much make up, no make up, bad skin, bad hair, annoying voice, fake smile and how she's the worst mum ever and probably drunk. Then it's his 'weird eye', his stupidity, his ill fitting clothes, his bad hair, his bad beard, his bad tattoos, his lack of sex and the list goes on. As you say they watch every video, scrutinize every sentence and even take screen shots and zoom in hoping to catch a reflection of the nanny they have for their son so they can try to identify who she is.

It's fascinating and messed up in equal measures and yet these people seem oblivious to the fact that they have the option of not watching this couple they don't know and just ignoring them. They then call them stupid despite the fact their lives seem ruined by watching these videos voluntarily and helping the Trackers fund their lifestyle and that then annoys these folks even more :D

So visited THAT website that hates Tim & Jenn and they're currently going nuts about Tim. Claiming he had covid but left his home on day 6 of a 10 day quarantine to attend a 'Give Kids The World' event with sick kids present? Wouldn't be surprised if that site had a 'whip round' and hired a hit man such is the fury

Well Tim did announce he had Covid. He tested positive on Sat then went to the GKTW event on Thursday.

Well, I don't know exactly what day he tested positive (Jenn isnt always the fastest at gettingvideos uploaded), but I know that in the video announcing it, they said they would stay home until he tested negative (just as they did the previous time he tested positive) - and specifically mentioned possibly having to miss the GKTW fundraiser if he wasn't negative by then. They also had a video from at least 1 day before that event that was titled, "Quarantine Day 5." Putting 2+2 together, it's likely that he was negative when he attended the event, and he still wore his N95 in accordance with the current CDC recommendations. It doesn't make sense that people would leap to the conclusion that he was suddenly being irresponsible in order to film a bunch of balloon sculptures (especially when he had another couple of days to attend if he wanted to) when he was taking it so seriously at home and had taken it so seriously the first time he caught it, too. As if he was sitting at home thinking, "I just HAVE to get that balloon video, COVID or not!"

I only know what I typed because my kid watches the Trackers. I do know that the CDC says you should not be around immunocompromised people for 10 days and that is probably why they are acting all over the top like that group does. (I work with an immunocompromised person and we are really careful because of that at my workplace)

Another thing that group got wrong: the GKTW event wasn't attended by sick kids. It was a media event held a day or 2 before it opened to the public. Given the timing of the video posted for his "Day 5 of Quarantine" (posted July 13, so likely filmed 1-2 days prior since they never get videos posted the same day because they film their whole day), then you can reasonably assume that he first tested positive no later than Friday. It always amazes me how people will hate-watch something and then either intentionally misrepresent what was said/done or pay so little attention that they have no idea what happened but still toss out accusations (or not watch at all but see a video title and make wild assumptions and present them as facts). That's not directed at you, but rather at the people on the site/board mentioned by mergatroid.

Also, there was a 2-day gap between the "Day 5" video and then GKTW video (with another video posted the day in between), so at that point it could have been a full week between the first positive test.

To be honest the if Trackers could cure cancer, solve world hunger along with establishing world peace then that site would still find a problem with them :D

It's hard to judge what's happened properly for a few reasons. One I stopped watching Tim and Jenn regularly when it turned into the look at our kid and us permanently on vacation show, so I've not fully researched the timeline but know some basics. Two, they themselves aren't great at giving out correct information such as I've seen videos where one thought it was a Monday on the same day the other thought it was actually Tuesday (not the covid issue, just what day of the week it was in general a while back). Thirdly, that site has so many posters watching and reporting on everything they do that you'd have to watch every video they make yourself to fully know what's true, what's sort of true and what's just made up by that lot.

I pop on occasionally to see what's being said about them except this time I caught it at the time of an actual 'potential incident' rather than the usual drama of somebody criticising them because a friend of a friend told them that they'd heard that their child cut his finger and they didn't take him to hospital or something.

To be fair to the Trackers, they built their business and now are reaping the benefits. Folks will say it's easy to create content and upload to YouTube but before you judge, try it for 5 years EVERY DAY and see how easy it is. We have all seen very successful vloggers get burnt out, so it's not that easy when your entire income depends on it like the Trackers. They are indeed on the treadmill and must keep running. Let's hope the Trackers have a nest egg.

The one thing that sticks with me about the Trackers was during the pandemic when they just reopened Disney Springs. As a viewer, I sincerely looked forward to Tim going to Disney Springs, but Tim and Jem made it very clear in a video to their viewers, they told us, they felt they did not feel they need to go to Disney Springs, so don't ask. It was obvious back then they were scared of the virus. News flash to the Trackers, at that point it's not the way they feel, they need to go to Disney Springs to show us it's safe to go at that point, personally I did want to see Disney Springs when it was not MOBBED like it usually is.

Magically, a day or two later, here is Tim on a guided tour of Disney Springs WITH a WDW cast member. Tim says that Disney "hosted" him on a visit to Disney Springs, in other words, Disney said to Tim, "You will go to Disney Springs NOW"

Look, it's totally fine the Trackers are compensated influencers for Disney, they earned it! But when this happened, all Tim needed to say to his viewers something like, "I know I said we felt we did not need to go to Disney Springs, but Disney called us and explained how important it was for you, our viewers, how safe it is to go to Disney springs".

In that video, there was no comment about his previous video saying they felt they did not need to visit Disney Springs, it just started as. "Welcome from Disney Springs", and I said to myself, "wait, you just told me a day ago you were NOT going to Disney Springs."

That said, there are worse ways to make money. The Trackers are making money and they get to do things I would love to do and will never do, and the Trackers do these things as a necessity in the business they built and grew themselves.
