I would say Sunshine State sums up Florida best, but not an option here.


I picked Everglades, but wish there was a "Coral Reef" option.

I like the 2nd design myself. It includes the shuttle, but doesn't focus on it completely like the 5th design.

There were over 1500 entries, so I'm sure that some of them featured Sunshine State.

The least they can do for the FLA quarter is put a Hidden Mickey in it somewhere for the Disney representation.

(see, they are thinking of Disney...and the hidden mickey...The average CM makes $0.27 an hour...put the quarter and pennies in the right place...VOILA...)

i really like the idea of showing the different aspects of Florida...but it seems to be missing something....

#2, to me, just seems so spaced out...of course, i'd hate to see it a jumbled mess, but i think i'd like to see a little more of the space filled.
i really love the look of #4! i think i'm gonna have to go with that one! i like the swordfish in whatever number that one was, but i think out of the two, FL's more known for St. Augustine than fishing...though i could be wrong since i'm not into the whole fishing thing. i also like the Everglades, though! actually, i think i like the Everglades more than the swordfish one.

Are you sure about that? I think you covered them all except the last one. Surely you like it best. :lol:

I like number four, but when I think of Florida, I think of more than St. Augustine. I like the sunset and dolphins jumping, but wish it had something besides the oldest city on it.

Everglades. When people think of FLA, it's usually Disney or the Everglades or citrus fruit. I'm surprised that a space shuttle is on their considering NASA is an industry, but that's just me.

I love St. Augustine. I would really want to see that quarter. I love it there, it's so neat. I suggest everyone go there, especially f you like hippies and their little trinket stores!!! Good stuff!!!
