Florida Locals?

Trust me, I've been driving a beater without a/c for over two years. It's not for lack of wanting a new car!

DMV should make it a law that no one is allowed to drive a vehicle in Florida without A/C.

We use the mother-in-law's 1999 Amigo as our back up car and the 20 minute drive to worth is brutal. :brick: I affectionately refer to the vehicle as

"The Sweatbox"

And if I had to drive that thing on I-4 to get to Disney, I wouldn't remember what the Magic Kingdom even looked like.

that's hitting it on the head. take a trip to Plant City to see some interesting natives. but we had backwards hilljacks just as bad in Illinois. that's the great thing about the USA, inbreeding touches every state. the ones down here just have better tans.

I've been to Plant City many times, usually around strawberry season :slurp:

But, if you want to see some real hillbillies try anywhere in Pasco County. :lol:

Since our family comes over to Florida about 4-5 times a year, and have been doing so forthe last 6-7 years, we are trying to move over from rainy old UK to the Sunshine State... Hopefully i'll be saying im a Florida local in the next 2 years!

if so, my answer: they arent that bad, they are just proud of being local and may get a little tired of hearing the question, "hey, what park is the golfball in?"

if so, my answer: it cant be that bad, florida locals aint nottin' compared to whatcha see here in bammer. at least florida rednecks have a reason they aint wearin' shoes; sand, us bammians just dont wear um for no good reason.

We'll be at the parks on the 5, 6, (we have meets at the MK on these days at noon and 2 respectivley) 7, 8, (14 and 15 tenative), 20, 21, 22 (we have a noon meetup at Tubbi's for another board, but any of you are laso welcome to attend, the 22nd is my hubby's bday) the 28, 29 (possible 30)

We are pretty flexible about which parks we do when since we live here!
