Yes I mean tons. Sry there just isnt a time they arent there anymore. Trust me we have tried to miss them

That's a real bummer. I know when we were there (beginning of February) one of the cast members told us there was some promotion that they were having I guess for people there to come up to WDW.

Yeah they offer them great deals from what I hear.one cause it cost so much to come over. Thats another reason why they stay so long from what I hear.

I'll take youth tour groups (regardless of origin) over the onslaught of folks in motorized wheelchairs anyday. At least the kids don't run you down.

I would second that.. Rather get trampled by a group of brzillian teens than mown down by a motorscooter :D

They're rude. They're loud. They push people, which is just unacceptable.

We aren't talking about all Brazilians here. We are talking about the Brazilians who come to Florida and our experiences with them.

I think the people who take offense to our gripes have not experienced it.

And I think Disney needs to stop allowing line jumping, like many amusement parks have done.

THIS!!!

Also, When in Rome... They NEED to learn proper manners regarding the culture here. I have never gone to any foreign country without trying to learn some of the norms there. Americans get all the bad press, but I have witnessed a lot of Ugly Tourist of all kinds of nationalities. Ever been to Australia? Lots of bad behavior on the part of Japanese tourists there.
I also think these groups move in such numbers, they get a mob mentality and think they can do whatever they want (same with the cheerleaders). Add to that no one is telling them to stop...

I feel like this issue is eventually going to get to a point where Disney will have to appointment a CM to go with every group and enforce the rules of civility. That seems like decent solution. Paid for by the tour group, of course. Otherwise this is going to come to a head in a really ugly way at some point.

If they love Disney World so much why don't they just build they're OWN DAMN DISNEY WORLD!!!!!! Thats what they did in tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong, sadly they're the best behaved.

It doesn't matter what your native culture deems "normal behavior." When you're in a foreign country, you're a GUEST and you should be on your "best behavior." You might not be an adult, but try to at least act civil. Clearly NO ONE else around you behaves that way... Shouldn't that be your first clue? A two year old can understand that.

For the record, I don't have a problem with Brazil/Brazilians... I don't care where you're from if you act like an .

Yeah! Down with cheerleaders! Boooooo!
BOO DOWN WITH BRAZILLIAN CHEERLEADERS!!! ;)

Hate to say it folks but there is a reason why most forgien countries hate American tourists and it is not our governments fault. It is due to an attitude that we are America's and you are all beneath us that many have. Forget about customs or ways of life most American travelers are no better. I do not condone line jumping or rude behavior and I do joke a lot about the tour groups but in all honesty I find the Brazillian tour groups more friendly and polite than several others right from here in the States.

They don't say "Ugly Americans" for nothing.

TBF I can see why Americans might find Brazilians rude. Whenever I've been to Florida most Americans have been really polite. I mean really polite. What is with that? It's like you're all high. You guys are so ******* polite, is wrong with you? :p

I'm more disappointed cheerleaders are getting torn a new one. Lets' hear it for the cheerleaders, yeehaw!

Got to love the name on the back of our shirt there.

A million likes for this!! Also, when I've been overseas it's been embarassing at times to be with American tour groups in places where guests are supposed to be quiet or dress appropriately (Sistine Chapel and St. Peters) but we are loud, rude and very inappropriately dressed. We aren't exceptional folks- just comfortable in our own context and clueless away from it. You can pick U.S. tourist groups out very easily in Europe- usually fat, loud and poorly dressed. Sorry, but it's true to a great degree.

I've heard this before. I'm curious as to why they think we are poorly dressed? (In general, not when going to a church.) Is it tennis shoes? That's what I'm guessing.

Of course their money is welcome.
What would be more welcome is if the leaders of the touring groups could rein in the behavior of some of the younger visitors when they are in large groups in the parks.
I think that's the thing that drives me most crazy: the young Brazilians. It's enough to make me want to learn Portuguese just so I can tell them things like, "Hey, I was here first, quit butting in line!" like I can do with the Argentinians in Spanish. But yes, increasing our GDP is welcome.

Some Brazilians come for the shopping but a majority come for Disney World. You can look up the Brazilian tour companies to see they have trips to other places in the US for teens too. Type in "Disney" and "dias" in a search on twitter and you'll find the kids counting down the days to their trip. Disney Channel and Radio Disney are huge in Brazil. Our family is learning Portuguese so I've been able to read these things more. I recently wrote an article on tour groups on my webpage.
