Flash Mob @ Downtown Disney 1/23/10

There was a Flash Mob freeze in the middle of Downtown Disney today at 4:00 PM. It looks like it took place between House of Blues and the Monorail station, and about 100 people, mostly young kids, took part.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this craze, especially on Disneyland property.

I don't mind flash mobs (particularly the dancing ones) but it seems weird to have one on Disney property. Seems risky too. I can imagine the mob getting interrupted by a bunch of Disney police who are angry that the mob is "impeding guest flow."

I used to think the flash mob thing was clever, and downright hilarious...but it's starting to get old and annoying now. :lol: It's bad enough maneuvering around Disney with the stroller people who stop in the middle of the walkways for no apparent reason.

Wow, I must be getting old because I never heard of a Flash Mob before and even after viewing the video I just don't get the point of it.

The whole flash mob thing interests me to no end. Have you seen the Oprah one with the Black Eyed Peas? Pretty fun.

Wow, I must be getting old because I never heard of a Flash Mob before and even after viewing the video I just don't get the point of it.

I'd never heard of this until I saw the Black Eyed Peas have a flash mob in Chicago for the opening sequence of Oprah's last season opener.

If you've never seen it, it's definitely worth watching. It gave me goosebumps!

Like getting loaded on Meisterbrau and bong hits, then watching Three's Company reruns over and over.
