This day doesn't seem to get the attention it once did.
That's too bad, because there are few things as beautiful as our flag waving in a breeze...no matter where it may be.

It's always been recognized and celebrated in my family because it was also my dad's birthday. He would have been 85 today!

My dad would have been 90 last month.
Today's a nice day to think of them both.

Which is quite striking also. I've always appreciated the Canadian flag design.
