Hi all again,

After two bad experiences (goin' on september & october) we're planning to go the first two weeks of march '12...

What about the crowds, cold & prices? Is it a good time to go? why?

Thanks!

L.

We were there from the 11th until around the 16th this year and it was crowded. The good thing is that it was expected, so it wasn't that bad. Most wait times were around 20-35 minutes, with upwards of 60-90 for big ticket rides. The weather was in the high 70's-low 80's during the day, with the low being roughly 50ish overnight and in the early AM. From what I've read, it's better crowd-wise as compared to the summer, but not compared to the ghost towns you're used to in the fall.

Wife and I went the 2nd week of March in 2009 and then again 2010. Somewhat crowded (big ticket rides, space and splash, soarin', etc) but not too bad. Plenty of fast pass available. I think the main issue was a lot of kids on spring break then because easter was in March. This year easter is in april, so I think less crowded this year early March.

Weather was hit or miss. Last year it was great, the year earlier got very nippy at night, probably mid to high 40s. during the day it was in the 70s adn very nice. Not waterpark or pool weather, but perfect for the theme parks.

Enjoy!

I agree with the previous poster-crowd level would depend on when Easter is. College spring breaks pretty much stay the same but they can vary with elem/high schools and when they have break.

We were there this past March from the 1st through the 4th. Only Epcot was particularly crowded because of the opening of the Flower & Garden Show. The other parks were quite uncrowded. The F&GS is worth attending though with those cool topiaries, butterfly house, and other beautiful floral displays. The weather was warm by day but got quite cool at night and jackets were needed by all.

We go every year in March and I don't think the crowds are too bad, weather is usually pretty good. The flower and Garden show was fantastic last year, worth checking it out.
