Hi guys!

My boyfriend and I just found out that we will have saved enough money and will be able to go DECEMBER 2013!!!! I am so excited I just can't stand it. It is his FIRST trip!! What?! Anyways, I would like your advice on where we should stay(somewhere romantic), must do's, romantic things, restaurants and any other advice you're just dieing to give!

Can't wait to hear your responses!

With your limited time in the parks, I say that you must use the EMH or you will not get to do everything you want to do. The early morning hours will allow you to ride a big percentage of the long-line rides before the crowds even get there. The lines don't usually start getting long until around 11:00. You could then use the park hopper and move to a non-emh park for the rest of the day. The cost for the park hopper is small enough that even if you don't use it, you won't have lost much. But, if you need it to hop for a meal or crowd control, it will be there for you.

Gonna throw my hat in the ring for Coronado Springs...very likely to be a more adult crowd I think out of the mods just because of being a convention resort. Great grounds and hammocks like CBR. If you spring for the modest fee of the Club Level you get the courtesy room with food/beverages that you can eat probably two meals out of a day if you plan on not doing the DDP this may be worth while.

I agree that 4 day tickets over 2 day park hopper and like another post said son;t plan on swimming and relaxing by the pool as December is indeed hit or miss with temps.

Nice idea. And I would add to that, watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the Poly Beach after dinner!
Thanks for mentioning that. I have a complaint about this sites posters. Last trip was my 5th but the first time hitting up the Poly for dinner. We went to the beach to watch Wishes and it was, until that point, the highlight of any of my Disney trips (surpassed a few days later at mnsshp). As everything was going along, and we waited for the fireworks to start I start wondering out loud, "what is that in the water". And then, "no seriously, what is in the water"? It was the pageant. I had never heard of it. Awesome awesome awesome. But as someone who game planned his family's entire vacation thru this site, a little notice would have been nice. I mean really, what am I not paying you for.

When planning the trip, did I mention reading every tab of allearsnet.com? That is where I learned about the EWP. I'm pretty sure I earned my pay and I am expecting a holiday bonus from you. :)

All of these are so helpful! I hadn't thought about doing the 4 day base tickets. That would probably be best. Also, after reading EVERYTHING and more on All Ears, I think Port Orleans FQ is best for us. We LOVE New Orleans and love the idea of taking a carriage ride around the resort.

Also, I should have mentioned that this isn't my first time, by any means, I have been over 20 times. So I already have my must do's, I have just never been without my family. My family and I ALWAYS stay at Fort Wilderness but Fort Wilderness is a little out of our price range, hence the switch to PO.

My must do's are:
-Ohana's at the Polynesian
-Campfire and Movie at FW
-Speed Boats
-Shopping at Downtown Disney
- Magic Kingdom for a whole day
- Electric Water Parade
