I saw mention of these and want to be sure I have them for my kids when we go in November. Where do you get them- at the parks or can I order them ahead of time?

Thanks!

They are free and you can pick them up at your Disney resort, any ticket window or at guest relations at any of the parks and DTD. They also have several other buttons including birthday buttons, anniversary, just married and honorary citizen.

I guess we are still waiting for those "Disney Expert" buttons to be developed. :D

I might have to develop one for us on the side.

That would be the "honorary citizen" buttons. I guess 'Disney Expert" was a bit to pretentious for the pixie dust peddlers.

True... although, to beat the pretentious thing and make it into a "slam- just deal with it" type thing, the button could read, "My dog knows more about Disney then you do"

alas, "honorary citizen" it is.

If you mentioned that it will be your families first trip when you made your reservations, they may be in your room when you ckeck-in. My MIL was with us two years ago and it was on the reservation that it was her first trip. The pin was in the room when she checked-in.

There are also green "I'm Celebrating" buttons as well. They have the Mickey balloons on them and you or a CM can write in what you are celebrating.

On our trip in January - we had a party of 16 - and we had some with First Visit buttons, my husband with a "Happy Birthday" button, and the rest of us had the green "I'm Celebrating" buttons.

The CM at the check in desk at Pop Century gave me 3 for myself - one to celebrate my husband's birthday, one to celebrate a family gathering and one to celebrate my 16th visit haha.

They did this on our honeymoon - it was noted in our reservation and when we checked in, the CM immediately got our buttons without us asking. They weren't in our rooms, but they knew before us saying anything.

And don't worry Sandy, I took care of that for you and put that as a celebration on your reservation :)

If you're at the Magic Kingdom, they sometimes have a CM in front of City Hall with a cart out full of baskets with all of the different types of celebration buttons.
