First time September visit

Hi Everyone! First time visiting WDW in September and was wondering if anyone could give me some insights from the wdwmagic experts on crowd levels, weather and any other fun facts you have! In the psat we have always gone in early March (2-3 weeks before Easter) so we are used to moderate/high crowds. Thanks!

It's been a while since I've been there in June, but expect summer weather, hot, humid and afternoon showers! The crowds will be nice and manageable and you will have a wonderful time!

I love September!!! Went last year, going this year. I've found many rides can be walk on. While the bigger, more popular rides can have a 60 - 80 minute wait, but thats where fast pass and single rider come in handy. Expect 10 - 20 minute afternoon showers, but trust me, they won't ruin your day at all. Some people tend to leave which can make the crowds lighten up right after. I've found that days without EMH are much easy to enjoy than days with EMH. For example, last year, I went to MK one day with out EMH and another day with night EMH... space mountain had a 15-20 minute wait w/o emh, 50- 60 minute wait on emh nights.

We were at WDW the last week in September in 12'. The weather was good but, HOT! We only had one afternoon with rain. It was a bit more crowded than we thought it would be but, I think that it's because it was the start of the F&W Festival & the TOT ten miler was on that last Sat. in Sept. It was a great visit but, not much lower crowds than our visit in June of 09'.

The weather is hot, I almost had my DW pass out on me once, so hydrate and pace yourselves with rest stops in air conditioned attractions like CoP, Ellen's Energy Adventure, and Hall of the Presidents etc. Crowd levels are okay but it's not super empty. The Halloween decorations should be out. Enjoy.

We need time for things to happen.
We usually go the first week of May.

Last year (and this coming year) we went the last week in September.
The crowds were on par with early May crowds moderate to low, the weather was NOT as good as in May.
It was hot, and it rained nearly every day. Typical FL passing showers for the most part, but I also heard from others that had gone at that time other years that it was extra rainy that year. So here's hoping it will be drier this year, but in the truth is...

It's September (you can insert any month here) , we're going to be in WDW..are there any real problems?

We loooove Sept. My time of year for sure. But it's HOOOOOT. Bring a fan or something, because it's killer. And the air just doesn't move. Almost stagnant. Buuut, crowd levels are amazing, you get a nice rain shower (some short, some longer, but just enough to cool down for a bit).

Wait times were amazing. Im hating that we cant go during free dining this year. Hoping it's offered next year so we can go!

A great time to go, crowd levels are lower and as for the weather just go with it. Bring some ponchos from the dollar store and have fun in the rain. It is usually a short burst and then it goes by. If it doesn't on well most people leave if it keeps raining, things are still open rides still go on it makes it fun..I didn't come to Disney to hide in my hotel room to out and have fun, I have some really cool pics from what of our really rainy days where everyone was running with diff event ponchos and the rain was just down luring and dancing on the ground. Enjoy it I will be there also from the 14-21

We went the week of Sept. 15 two years ago. It was a great time to visit. We were up and out of the hotel first thing in the morning and had no problems with crowds. It only rained one day. We are from the south and used to the heat, but I don't remember it being terrible. MNSSHP was going on when we were there. Go to MK on a party night. There were no crowds during the day. The park closes early for the party but the zero crowds during the day are awesome!

September is one of our favorite months to be at Disney. It can be quite Hot and Humid with showers; sometimes pouring raining (depends on tropical systems). Rain can cause it to cool down or get even more humid, so don't worry about your hair that weak...pull it up and/or put it under a hat...and have fun! Oh, and if you or someone in your family usually wears make-up...it's going to matte or run and you'll just feel sticky, so let your face breathe and do without the make-up.

Depending on which part of September, you'll be able to see Halloween decorations going up or complete (mid-September). You'll also see F&W stands and area being prepared or open for business (late September).

As @ShookieJones said...it's September, we're going to be in WDW...are there any problems?
We'll be there Sept. 12 -16!

Sept the crowds are busy. You will have alot of brizillian tour groups. The weather will be very very hot.You will also have the occasional showers. Some days it could rain all day. =( It did with us.

Is this something new? I don't recall too many South American tour groups in Sept... though I haven't been during this time since 2009.

We're booked 9/8 to 9/14... and certainly expecting the heat! We have 2 dedicated water park days, 3 afternoons at the pool, and our only time at the Magic Kingdom will be during MNSSHP 9/10.

We're following EasyWDW's suggested days to aid with crowd levels, though I'm a firm believer there's no longer a "slow" period at Disney! We're still planning on FastPass, rope drop-ish arrivals, and a park stradegy. If Disney decides to roll out Fastplass+ during my week (or before)... I'll be exstatic!

Nothing "extra" special in Sept... as I mentioned, we plan on a night at MNSSHP to enjoy the (hopefully) somewhat cooler temps and park atmosphere. With the heat, and my birthday, we plan on doing the personal water craft (jet ski) tour from Sammy Duvall's and renting some water crafts (sea raycer, pontoon, etc.) from our resort marina.
