As you can see in my sig, I am off to the world in feb. I haven't been since I was nine, and the Husband has never been.

If you were to recommend things for first timers experience, what would they be?

What Park would you visit first?

We have 14 days in orlando, with a 14 day Disney ultimate pass, so I think we could do everything suggested....:)

I would hit Magic Kingdom first. I feel like that always starts the trip off right. I also end my trip with MK.

Try to have dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. It is awesome. Great food, great atmosphere.

Head around to all the different resorts to check out what they have to offer.

Get the to parks when they open to get fastpasses right away.

Rent some sort of watercraft to drive around bay lake and the lagoon. They are tons of fun!

I'll try to think of some more later! Hope you have fun!

We always visit Magic Kingdom first. It is not our favorite, but there is just something about pulling up to the castle via the monorail. Brings tears to my eyes everytime I see it.

Are you staying onsite or off?

Well first off congratulations. Hmm, it's tough to go wrong especially if you have a lot of time there. I'd say definately hit the main four parks, Magic Kingdom especially as it is widely considered the best followed by EPCOT. yeah probably do MK first. They're all so unique though i'm sure you'd love them all.

Main attractions:

MK: Space, Splash, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, pretty much everything except Stitch's great escape (which isn't terrible but kinda overrated) and the Indy speedway

EPCOT: Spaceship Earth, Test Track, American Adventure, Soarin' those are the best but the others are pretty solid as well.

DHS: Tower of Terror. Rock n roller coaster (don't be scared of either, you'll have a blast), Great Movie Ride, the Muppets, Toy Story Mania, the car stunt show. Again those are mostly the highlights but the others there are worth checking out.

AK: Expedition Everest (best ride of all) Kilamanjaro Safari, Dinosaur

man, 14 days you could probably should try everything. Downtown Disney is cool. Never been to the waterparks but from what i've seen and heard they're pretty sweet.

Have fun!

Were staying offsite. Purely as my husband as excited as he is, needs a break from the mouse. Plus we are going self catering as one of the most exciting parts for me is going to an american supermarket ;) Strange I know.

We are staying in Orange Lakes so we are pretty close by. Plus we also have (whispering) Universal Flex tickets, so I can see us spending a few days there.

Definately go to all four theme parks if possible.
Magic Kingdom has the most to do, in my opinion, so definately stop there. Be sure to ride all of the MK's Mountains (Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- especially at night!) if you enjoy coasters- and getting wet!
EPCOT is more of a place to dine in my opinion, but there are also several things to do and ride. If you have children, try the new Kim Possible Mission thing in the showcase- I haven't tried it yet, but I've been told it's a lot of fun for little ones. There are also attractions such as Test Track, Spaceship Earth (one of my personal favorites), and Soarin'.
Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM) is a place of glitz and glamour- my second favorite park. :) If you like scary rides, try Tower of Terror. Once again, if you enjoy coasters, you'll also want to add Rock 'N Rollercoaster to your list- especially if you like Aerosmith! There are also a lot of shows to watch here- my favorite is The Voyage of the Little Mermaid. If you look closely by The Voyage of the Little Mermaid or One Man's Dream (I can't remember which one is the entrance) you'll find an entrance to enter a little show that tells you about cartoons- starring Mushu from Mulan- and if you go into the seperate room after the show, you'll be taught how to draw a Disney character. It seems boring at first, but it's a lot of fun, and only about ten to fifteen minutes of your time.
Animal Kingdom isn't very much my favorite, but you might want to stop here to see what it looks like. It's actually very gorgeous, what with all the trees and flowers and life in there. Make sure to ride Dinosaur and Expedition Everest- and be on the look out for the yeti!

Have fun on your trip! :)
