First Time DLP Trip Report - Not What I Expected!

I have similar thoughts about DLP. It’s always sad to see decline

Decline? Quite the opposite.

The amount of large scale refurbs in the past decade is unprecedented and they’re still going.

Something that DLP will have in its favour is that at DLP, they can use fireworks every night (even if limited because of neighbours). Universal UK is only allowed to have fireworks on specific dates (Bonfire Night, New Year etc.) so will have to come up with something different if they're doing a nighttime spectacular.

When I think Universal Studios I don't think of nighttime spectaculars... does any Universal Park have a regular night time show? Even in Orlando their parks often close before dark during a decent part of the year.

It’s always a shame when you go somewhere and don’t like it but you have to celebrate making the trip which a lot of people wouldn’t do.

I had built Disneyland Paris up to be so spectacular that I was pretty sure I would be disappointed- quite the opposite. It far exceeded my expectations.

Likewise I had heard such bad reviews of studios I was pleasantly surprised- I think it’s in better shape than DHS at this point and will be lovely when the expansion opens.
