First Time Cruiser

I'm green with envy :D

I've only cruised once and it wasn't Disney (it was Celebrity) but we kept wishing we were on the Disney cruise every time we pulled up to the port and saw the Disney ship. I've heard it's a fabulous cruise and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Have fun and give us a report when you get back!! By the way, where are you cruising to?

Have fun!! my first cruise was a Disney Cruise. I didn't see my parents on the boat other than dinner. See all the shows and try new foods at dinner. Warning the food places that stay open late are only open till midnight. That was the time I started to get hungry.

You are going to have a great time! We've cruised Disney twice and it was wonderful. We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise for spring break and it couldn't begin to compare (although it was almost 1/3 the cost). Be sure you don't miss the shows. They're fabulous. Have fun!

Well I got a heck of a deal on the Cast Member space available rate. Lets just say I paid less for 2 people on a 4 night then most would pay for 1 person on a 3 night.

Awesome, I just got back from my first Disney Cruise on April 1st and I was ready to book my next cruise while on board... Be sure to check out the shows in the Walt Disney Theater, they are top quality... And try not to eat too much!

Any suggestions for things to do in Nassau, it's just the two of us (27 and 28 year olds) and we don't have any kids.

Yeah, don't get off the boat... Nassau isn't worth it...

If you absolutely have to, take a cab ($4-6 a person) to the Atlantis on Paradise island and bring some money to gamble with... and a good camera, because the hotel (at least the parts they let you see, some areas are for hotel guests only) is absolutely gorgeous...

Straw Market? Useless crap thrown into your face... Kind of like the not-nice version of how El Rio used to be

Everyone in my office mentioned the same thing, to head to the Atlantis casino. A lot of them recommended taking a boat there instead of a cab but no one gives any particular reason. Any clue here?
