First they ruin Disney Channel, and now they're starting to ruin Toon Disney...

UGH! As if Toon Disney was not bad enough...I hate the fact that the older library can be seen at very bad times...sometimes if I'm lucky enough I catch Darkwing Duck or TaleSpin late...but my favorites are Ducktales and Rescue Rangers and those they give early in the morning or when I'm not at home...GRR I made my parents get digital cable for this channel and now what's the point...well, lol I did discover the NickToons channel  and the Nick Games one with the oldies like Nick Arcade and Legends of the Hidden Temple

DUDE! Those are still on another channel? Now I really need to get Nick Games! I grew up on those shows! ;) And Guts. Now, if only I could find a channel still showing Hey Dude...

But that's a real shame about Toon Disney. I really, really want that channel, unfortunately my apartment complex's cable carrier doesn't provide it with any of their packages. :( But I want it for the old Disney Afternoon cartoons, and if those disappear, well, then, my interest in that channel is gone.

I always thought Toon Disney was a bad idea, anyway. Too much of a good thing cheapens it, and a 24-hour Disney cartoon channel is just too much time to fill. Too tempting to cheapen the Disney name by filling the time with cheap crap.

And, seems like that has happened.

Would have been better to syndicate the DuckTales, etc., to Cartoon Network, etc.

Yep, Nick Games channel has a bunch of the classics on it....I still enjoy catching them once in a while.......:)

Shame that they're doing this to Toon Disney. Saw a commercial for it actually the other day on TD, and couldn't believe it. It's called TOON Disney for a reason!

... or better yet, put them on The Disney Channel (imagine that!)

in the afternoon....
Yeah, what a concept, eh? You'd think it wouldn't be so hard to do that. But NOOOO, they must show each "Disney Channel Original" 3 times each day. Is it really neccessary to show the same episode of Boy Meets World at 11pm and 1am?? That's laziness.

(Yes, I just admitted to watching nothing but the Disney Channel late at night. :lookaroun )

Well looks like Disney may as well change Toon Disney to Disney2, I must say this quite annoying as a cartoon channel is supposed to be with CARTOONS, it would be different if the power rangers were only partly live action but no, oh well:brick:

Guess some genius thought that since Power Rangers features a little bit of computer animation(The show's live-action, but the Power Rangers' giant robot Zord things are sometimes show through computer animation, but most of the time its guys in suits), it would be okay to show it on Toon Disney.

personally, im a big fan of Boomerang (they show hong kong phooey, and rocky and bullwinkle etc..)

but i just wish theyd go back to showing "Valut Disney" and stuff like that! I love watching those old shows and especially the themepark stuff.

Maybe they'll start rerunning the old Disneyland shows and the Wonderful World of Disney from the late 50s through the 70s

::sigh:: one can only dream. I loved those shows, especially the theme park-related ones...my favorite was the one with the Osmonds and Kurt Russell ...my only consolation for now is the fact that the POTC dvd brings an episode of it, which happens to be an episode I like :)

Disney Channel is already getting bad as Nick.
They now are probably going to have that Nick live thing now, but it will probably be called Disney Live.
