First of 2 Trips in 9 Months Pre-Trip and Trip Report 5/29-6/7

So this is my first ever pre-trip report, much less trip report. But most definitely not my first trip. I am new to this site and decided to try this out.
Who:
48518256.jpg

Me, 27, the planner this time around. I booked all the meals and made the itinerary for the trip. Maybe that's why I'm so excited. My co-workers think I'm crazy because all I've been talking about is Disney. I love taking pictures, I'm not the best, but I love it. So my trip report will be filled with pictures.
26330748.jpg

My Mom, the packer and repacker. She makes sure we have everything we need for the trip. We are celebrating her birthday while in Disney.
63362657.jpg

My Dad, the camera man. Was hard to find a picture of him, because like me, he is always behind the camera.
42727721.jpg

My sister, 19, the diva or drama queen, as she calls herself. Tinkerbell freak, as you can tell my the picture. I usually get stuck sitting with her on the rides. Lucky me. LOL.
41847202.jpg

My brother, 13, the only boy. He is braver than the rest of us, he's been trying to convince me to ride Splash Mountain.
66699747.jpg

My sister, 13, the baby of the family. But she acts like the boss most of the time. I will NOT ride with her on Tomorrowland Indy Speedway this time around.
What: 8 days in Walt Disney World.
When: May 29th-June 7th.
Where: Pop Century, two preferred rooms. Hopefully connected.
Why: Because three years is too long to go without visiting Disney World. We are also celebrating my mom's birthday while we are there. Also I will be spending some time with a friend that now works at Disney World.
So the meaning behind the title, you ask? My mom and I (and possibly my nanny) will be taking another trip in January. Ever since my friend moved to Florida, he and I have been planning a birthday trip for the two of us. My birthday is in January, his is in February. So we will be going somewhere in between. So for the first time ever I will be going to Disney World twice in less then a year.

Anything else you would like to know, just ask. I will post the itinerary and meals tomorrow night after work.

I adore your chip n' dale shirt! That is soooo cute!

Thanks. I got it at Walmart for $9. I bought new shirts for each day of the trip. Each shirt matched where we were going or what we were doing that day. My sister thought I was nuts, like the shirt said, but I enjoyed myself. I read your pretrip report. I am becoming like that with my next trip. We are going back in January for my birthday. It's just my mom, my nanny and I going. So my mom told me that I could plan the whole thing. It is alot of fun though. Just waiting for the deals to come out.

Day 8

Our last day was spent in Magic Kingdom.

Breakfast was at Crystal Palace again this morning. As you can tell I love this place. Everything was delicious as usual.

This morning all the characters loved my shirt. Each one pointed and posed like they were on my shirt.

Piglet and I.

Tigger and I.

Eeyore and I.

My favorite, Pooh Bear and I.

My sister really wanted to ride the trolley, but everytime we saw it, it was full. So now riding the trolley will be first on the list when we all go back.

This was actually the first time we got to walk through the castle the whole trip. Every other time it was blocked off because of the show or fireworks.

One of my sisters loves Tinkerbell. Her and I went over to wait for Toontown to open, so we could see the fairies with little wait.
Fauna was first. She scared my sister by jumping up at her to say it was our turn.
746o.jpg

Tinkerbell saw my Princess Pirate Ears, and asked what kind of pirate I was. She wanted to know if I was a bad pirate or a pretend pirate. I told her that I only bought them because it was pink and black, she was very relieved. LOL.
747f.jpg

Terrence asked my sister what was she the fairy of. I told him sleeping and texting. He asked what is this texting you speak of? Then told us that he would like to be the fairy of sleeping, he'd be really good at that.

Just another castle shot. I took waaaay to many of the castle from all different angles.

The next two pictures were under the train station. I had never noticed them there before.

Before dinner, which was at Crystal Palace. Yes we really enjoy this place.

What really confused me was that they had meatballs, but no spaghetti to go with it. I'm not sure why that was. We even asked the waiter, but he didn't know either.

My favorite girl from It's A Small World.

Now it is time for the thing I was most looking forward to on this trip. Main Street Electrical Parade. My parents found us a spot as I took my brother and sister of a few rides. We met up with them about 30 minutes before the parade was to start. Main Street was packed. Keep in mind this was opening night. The energy of the crowd was unlike anything I had experienced before. On my left was a family with two little girls who had never even heard of this parade. But the mother grew up watching it. I don't know which of them were more excited. The family on my right had seen the parade once before awhile back. As the lights went out the crowd actually quieted down for just a moment.

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls.... I was in tears. It brought me back to being a little girl watching this parade. I absolutely loved the parade. I am just going to post the pictures of the parade. No commentary is needed in my opinion.

By the way it was the Summer Nightastic Fireworks this evening. I preferred Wishes. After the chaos that was the fireworks crowd, we made our way through the castle for a few last minute rides.

This is my favorite picture I took of the castle and one of my favorites from the whole trip.

A different perspective.

I thought the carousel looked so pretty all lit up.

Once again it's my man Pooh Bear.

Sonny Eclipse.

We had eaten here earlier in the trip, but there was no seating available in the main room. So this was the only picture I took of him. I ran in, took the picture, and ran out. LOL.

As we did our last minute shopping the Main Street Electrical Parade was doing it second showing. I stepped out of the shop and saw this.

My last look at the castle until January 2011.

Time to check out. :(

We had our last breakfast in Pop Century.

I took this picture as I walked around the hotel for the last time.

I never got a chance to get a drink from here. I will definately be stopping here in January.

After we were all packed up, it was time to say goodbye to my friend. I didn't want to, the only thing that saved me from crying was that he was at work. I made it to the car before I started crying.

Took this on the way to the car.

I'll be back January 2011.

I wanted to thank everyone that has read my report. Sorry it took so long for me to finish. I had gotten very busy right after our trip, so I got a late start. Then work and other various things interrupted me from finishing.

Overall, it was a wonderful trip. Hot, rainy, beautiful, exciting trip. I loved seeing my friend again. The lines were never very long for the buses. And not once did we have to stand on the bus. The waits for most rides were very good considering it being summer.

I am going back in January so that will be a new experience for me. I hope to have a wonderful trip then also. I will be celebrating my birthday with my mom and my nanny. And my friend of course.

Hopefully, I will be posting the pre-trip report for that one soon. That is if ya'll want me to do one. LOL.

Thanks again, I hope ya'll enjoyed yourselves. Cuz I sure did.

Fabulous report! I didn't see it until now so I just read the whole thing at once. I, too, have a thing for Pooh's Puffy French Toast... it's so delicious. And I love that shot of you and Goofy at Blizzard Beach. Can't wait to read all about your Birthday trip.
