We usually arrive in the evening and after a long day & transatlantic flight, we just end up getting something from counter service place in the resort then hitting the hay, ready to get to the parks bright & early the following morning :)

I was always really hungry when I arrived and would get a cupcake in the hotel. Those cupcakes are ginormous. The cupcakes were never good, but that what I always did. Drove my sister crazy. "You don't like the cupcakes!" she'd complain. "I don't know. I don't remember hating them. I'm hungry. I'm having a cupcake."

Then I'd say, "This really isn't good. Next time remind me that I don't like these." It would driver her nuts. We did this every trip, too. :)

Subway in the car on a Fri night for check in between 8-9. Breakfast is bars and shakes in the room. First day is always MK for rope drop. I used to have a whole system of tomorrowland to fantasyland with Dad (me) running ahead for paper FP's. That will all change now - but first meal is either Village Haus for the italian flatbread sandwich or Columbia house for our first dose of fried! (oh and we eat at 11:30 to avoid the rush-not that I plan out our entire day or anything)

We are arriving arriving at noon on the 22nd and have our ADR ready for an early dinner at Biergarten! Have to start the trip off with a liter of Oktoberfest!
Same here, although we arrive early enough for lunch. And I usually start off with one Oktoberfest and one Radebeger (I butchered that I'm sure).

Tandoori Chicken at AoA! Very yummy for cafeteria fare. This year, we're staying across the bridge at Pop, but we have plans to take a stroll over and get that for our first meal.

The DW and I have a tradition that we love to do. We always arive around 4:30 PM one day Earlier then when our vacation package starts. Once we get into Jacksonville my wife calls POR's and gets us a room for the night. This room is usally the one we will stay in when our vacation package starts the next day. So we get to PORs, check-in unpack and jump on a bus to DTD and Eat at the Rainforest Cafe. Then get Ice Cream at Ghiardelli's and then strool and shop. This is what makes us know we are on vacation in WDW. Nothing beats the atmosphere or says welcome and relax from a long drive from Southern NJ.

Since we arrive late afternoon/early evening (fly from left coast) we usually bus to DHS and walk over to Boardwalk for dinner at Big River Grille. Next month we may mix it up and either do Olivia's or Earl.
Olivia's is one of the most underrated restaurants in my opinion, you should really try it.

Last trip, we went to Ohana for a late dinner on the day of arrival. Getting to see glimpses of the castle got us all the more excited for our next day in MK.

In July, our first meal was breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Now that is a great way to begin a day in the Magic Kingdom!

This year there's a 99% chance that we'll be stopping for chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese before we even leave the airport since we'll be flying during our normal lunchtime. Such is life with a preschooler!

We seem to always have that first meal in the resort. Breakfast platter or pizza. Our first real meal is usually Earl's.

We arrive around lunch time at our resort, head to the MK, grab a lunch meal at Cosmic Rays or Casey's, then around 6-7 pm head over to Chef Mickey's or the Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner.
