Now THAT'S what I call "immersive". Fantastic! Thanks for this!

I'm very excited to see how this all looks and I think it's great that UNI continues to go after Disney. However, this video is just clips from the movie and concept art. I reserve judgement until the real thing comes out.

Any guesses as to how they're going to do the walking-through-a-brick-wall bit?
Mist projection?
Concave mirrors?

Not sure - is this an actual ride that moves or is it stationary? If stationary, I do not think I will like it

Er, both? Kind of?
The train you're sitting in will be actually moving but as you ride you'll be watching video played on some super-fancy polarized (3D?) video screens in place of the windows.
Think Star Tours meets the Magic Kingdom rail road, but with some much newer tech.

I guess it address the biggest issue with HPW - the lack of rides.

They built what is probably the best theme park ride in existence, built a wonderfully imersive land to surround it.....but then its missing any other rides. Sorry I don't accept that reskinning two existing rollercoasters in single plytissue paper counts.

Does it?
I hadn't read anything about what the hourly throughput of this thing was supposed to be.

Here is the calculation I did at one point...

Hogwarts is being reported to have 200 guests per train, 2 trains and a cycle time of 7 minutes. So that would be 3200 riders per hour, 1600 in each direction.

Any one else at all concerned about the wait times for this? The capacity seems to be an issue...

It sounds like an operational decision of one ride per person per day is going to happen for the first few weeks, maybe longer depending on crowds. Not sure how true that is, but that seems to be the talk in operations. This would be enforceable, as there will be admissions folks at each station permanently.
