*sigh* And so ends my summer vacation.:( That went by way too quickly. So... tomorrow starts my Junior year. I'll give a report when I get back tomorrow. So when is anyone else's school year starting?

My junior year of college started today. I have to read five rather boring books in History of European Political Thought I and keep a spiritual journal for a class. Tomorrow I have classes for my major, so I'm kind of looking forward to that.

Wow... school... I remember back in the day when I went to school... seems like so long ago, especially now that my daughter is in 5th grade and my son is in 2nd grade.

My daughter (who is now a high school sophmore) started school on August 14th.

I don't know how she will be able to handle homework (chemistry, geometry, latin, etc), working and comp cheer practice.

Any advice from those of you who have done it?

Maybe she needs to give up her job.

Good luck to you all!! Study, study, study!!!!!

Well, it looks like its going to be an alright year. But boy do I miss summer.:(

Anyway, the classes were split between classes full of people I knew, and classes where I barely knew anybody. I'm in trouble in French 2 already because I forgot to do the summer work.:brick: I'll make up for it though. My favourite class so far probably was Biology because the teacher was really nice, and there were lots of people I knew in there including a good friend of mine who sit next to.

Hopefully it should be a good year. Its should be better than last year for sure...

I took Chem as a junior and to be honest, its not all that hard. Is she taking it with lab or with out?

Best advice I can give her is, if they give out a packet with the periodic table and some of the formulas on it, hang on to it and write EVERYTHING that she'll need on it, all the formulas, any shorthand, stuff like that. We were allowed to keep the packets for tests, labs, midterm, and final and it was a lifesaver.

With lab.

I will pass on your advice. Thank You!!

Last night she informed me that she joined the latin club. So I guess what she can give up is sleeping.

Wow, some of you guys started really early!

They passed a law here this year that all schools and colleges start after labor day so that's when we're starting. It will be the 2nd half of my sophomore year at college, even though I've been going for more than 2 years. :lookaroun That's what happens when you take a semester off for the college program and you change your major twice.

I'm in my college marching band, and band camp starts next week.

What??????

You are allowed to write on your reference table?:veryconfu
I don't think so.
It is considered cheating and an expellable offense in my school.
