First Date

I know this thread is primarily used to discuss first dates, strategies and the like, but how about an extention to ask for a date. . . .

Erica, if you are ever in the Cincinnati area, I would love to show you around. . .

Of course, you would have to wear one of the Princess Dresses . . .to entertain my daughters of course :lookaroun , but still, we'd make sure you see all the high points of the Queen City.

Oh, and are you a good cook?

We may actually be in Ohio next year for a wedding :wave: I forget the name of the town but it's deep in Wal-Mart territory somewhere.

Speaking of Wal-Mart. . .I am sure I have seen some young daters hanging our in the Wal-Mart snack area, holding hands, and gazing at the aisles and aisles of value. So let's add that to the list of possible first date locations.

Father: Where are you taking my daughter. . .?

Boy: To Wal-Mart sir.

Father: Oh, Okay. Can you pick me up a pack of Fruit of the Loom and a couple fishing lures?
