Trip Report First 6 pack Vaca!

Me (Dolly Parton made a song of my name ), Hubby, Bear(8), Handsome (5),Ninja (8) and Jet (10).
What: We were supposed to go on a 40th birthday extravaganza for me back in March both of our extended families were set to join the festivities. When COVID hit we changed locations to Arizona however I still wanted my Disney fix. So we are surprising the kids on their last day of school and heading to WDW. This will be our first family vacation without any extended family (no grandparents, cousins etc). We are excited to spend quality time with our kiddos.
A few pictures from my 40th celebration.

Where: AOA Cars family suite. The girls love AOA for the Ariel rooms however since we don’t have the grandparents to bunk up with we are trying out the Cars suites. Handsome adores Cars so it was a no brainer when choosing theming.
When: May 27-June 1st, 5 day tickets with Park Hopper. I totally goofed on Park reservations. I booked a lot of DHS in the beginning to make sure we had a chance at ROTR. Our younger 3 haven’t been to WDW since 2017 since our last trip was to DLR. Well long story short by the time I went in to change them every park was booked up! So there will be a lot of park hopping this trip.

This pizza would be good anytime but I’m sitting at gymnastics starving until 8:30pm. If only I could Ubereats it!

It was 6:45 when we finished up. Our time at Epcot was slipping through our fingers. We hadn’t even started a tour of WS. Ninja had been eying the Frushi for weeks so that was our first stop.

We shared it and neither of us loved it but it was fun! We passed meandered towards Norway since the kids wanted to ride FEA. When we got there the ride was down. We decided to head to Mexico. The Grand Fiesta had a 15 minute wait so we hopped in line. I can’t find any picture so you’ll have to take my word for it. I wanted to visit La Cava however the app said FEA was back up. Hubby and the 3 youngest went to hop in line while I got us drinks. Jet and I took turns taking pictures.

Mine wins but I had a better subject and that light.
We found everyone else in line. It was listed as a 40 minute wait but it had been 10 and they hadn’t moved at all. Our drinks were gone and the kids were bored 20 minutes later and we hadn’t made much progress. We pulled our phones out for some more games out of desperation.

I was getting sad because we had so many more countries to visit and I knew there was going to be no time. In all we waited 75 minutes for FEA. I can’t believe we stayed in that line.

I had two goals for the limited time we had left. Item #1

We love the violet lemonade. I understand all the fuss now. I also wanted to walk around France and check out Ratatouille.

It was dark so you couldn’t see the topiaries and most the shops were closed so we decided to head out. We took the Skyliner back to AOA and were all in bed by 10:30pm.

As far as I'm concerned, there is never enough time for Epcot. It makes me just as sad to leave there as it does MK. Loving the photos!

Me too!! Epcot is my favorite park! I love the world showcase and can wander around for hours. It's always so hard to leave!

Tuesday June 1- MK departure day
Alarms went off at 5:30 for everyone. We started packing up since it was departure day. I asked Hubby “ Did you see anything under the door when we got back last night?” He looked at me clueless. I checked everywhere on the app for information about our tragical. I couldn’t find anything. I called the number on our arrival paperwork and they informed us that had us marked as leaving Saturday. As much as I wished that was the case we needed a ride today. They were very nice and set us up to leave at 1:30pm. I thanked them for fitting us in however I still have no clue how the dates got so messed up. We said goodbye to our room and lugged out suitcases to bell services by 6:50am. We waited only 5 minutes and our kids were so excited to see this bus pull up!

We knew we only had a few hours at MK so we decided to hit BTMR first thing.

We said goodbye to BTMR and crossed the park to SM. I forget which side we were on.

I know Buzz isn’t everyone’s favorite but we all love it.

We decided it was time to leave Tomorrowland and hit a few Fantasyland favorites before we called this trip a wrap. First up the carousel.

I sent this to my brother who is a Buffalo bills fan however it seemed like the perfect horse for @Doc Disney

Jet and I were wearing our Little Mermaid shirts so naturally we wanted to head there next. My little mermaid is growing up so quickly I was trying to freeze this moment in time forever.

It was about 9:20 and we decided our last ride was going to be SDMT. It was listed at 40 minutes but ended up being about 50 minutes. Ninja was tired hot and hangry. She did not enjoy this wait and let us know it. Bear was all smiles to have one more ride on her favorite.

We had so much fun this morning but we were all tired. We could have rode one more ride but decided to mosey our way out.

We love Disney but our kids have tired/hot/cranky moments and it is all part of the experience. Maybe our tired/hot/cranky moments can help someone prepare better than we did.

We decided to stop for a few more pictures. The light wasn’t in our favor but we had fun with it.

We waived goodbye to MK. This is normally where we take a sad face photo on the way out but we couldn’t. We were so happy that this trip actually happened there was nothing sad about it.
We mobile ordered chicken fingers from AOA and enjoyed our last Disney meal. It was only 11:45 so we had time to kill. We decided to walk over to Pop and get a treat.

We decided to leave behind a little Disney magic.

Not sure how years of matching shirts we have left so enjoying it while we can.

It was 12:30 so we went back to clean out chocolate faces and retrieve our luggage. Jet declared the AOA Ariel bathroom the prettiest in the World.

We finally had the sad faces we didn’t think we had.

It was quick journey on the tragical express since everyone was so tuckered out.

Our 2 hour flight was short and uneventful except one thing…

About an hour into our flight Handsome’s exclaims “ Mama we forgot to get my sword!!” In all the last morning adventures we completely forgot. I told him “ Buddy that just gives us a reason to go back.” I was worried there would be tears and tired crying instead he said “OK.” And went back to his Ipad.
