I'm staying up for new years.. I love Twilight Zone and the marathon on Sci-Fi
is on. But every few minutes I hear fireworks that literally shake the ground. Is it me or are street fireworks getting more and more big and loud and obnoxious? I just want to watch TZ in peace!!!!!! :(

I heard a few here, not much though. And trust me, people LOVE their fireworks around here. Actually, even we do a lot of July 4th.

Sheesh, around here people buy the type of fireworks you see at WDW, which means great looking but very loud. Thats bad for us because they spook our horses like there is no tomorrow and unless we put them in the barn and lock all the gates up tight they will go through the fence. During the 4th of July in the subdivision behind our property, somebody was setting of the fireworks that shake the ground when they boom. It was pretty bad. We have no idea where they buy em but alot of people have em. We just stick with the little packs you can buy in Wal-Mart and such.

Are guns fired in the air, considered fireworks?

I think some of my neighbors may think so!

Where the cops when you need them

Apparently they heard everyone's talk on here and headed behind my house to get me and three of my friends. Luckily I'm really good friends with one of the two that came out and they let us off with a warning. You'd think if you went out into the middle of nowhere and made sure it wouldn't bother anyone, that you'd be fine. And go figure, as the cops are talking to us, we hear HUGE fireworks going off from quite a distance away as you could hear the echo from them for quite a while. And we're the ones getting caught with little firecrackers, ground flowers and sparkler.
