Has anyone found any amazing spots to watch any of the displays? I know that the Rose and Crown at Epcot is apparently a great spot if you can book early enough. I'm doing some Disney planning so trying to find the best places in advance :D

In my opinion, Happily Ever After looks best with a straight on look at the castle, not too close but not too far away. Illuminations looks great from Japan up on the balcony and on the bridges, again in my opinion.

I think the Italy pavilion is one of the better spots to watch Illuminations. I believe that is where the Disney Visa viewing is as well, but depending on your height it may not be a problem. I'm pretty tall so I don't really have a problem seeing from anywhere so I'm usually in the back so I'm not blocking anyones view. Canada and UK are also good spots as you mentioned

RoE was designed to be best seen from Showcase plaza, but that's now mainly upcharge. So anywhere you can see the center half of the lagoon and the sky will work. HEA like was said above. And SWAGS in front of the projection towers.

The cool thing about viewing from Canada, right across from the steps leading up into the pavilion, is that there's a big tree there, and it seems like viewing would be lousy. As such, the area is pretty empty, and you can get a nice position as late as 10 minutes before showtime. And it's not really a lousy spot at all - you have a great view of everything. My favorite spot!

Have to say I hugely second this. My family and I pretty much always find a great spot from the Italy Pavillion. I'm sure there's a small bridge there that many people do actually walk past that has a nigh on perfect view.

Also, respecting that I'm tall, so I often don't have a terrible issue seeing over people when necessary.
