Wow! Those storms can be fierce! When lightning strikes, those kind of fires can get started. But, it seems like it was a car fire .. wow!

The fire wasn't on Disney property, therefore your premise is wrong.

I remember a bad one when I went to Uni about 10-15 years ago.
Walked in the gate and the smoke was so thick I couldn't see Hitchcock.

Still can't see Hitchcock, but that's another complaint altogether...

If it was the year I'm thinking of, it was when there were fires all throughout Florida due to a major drought. I live in Atlanta and remember waking up one morning to smoke all over the place and it looked like Atlanta was on fire and it was just the smoke from Florida.
