A freind of mine who works in Tomorrowland informed me there was a major fire @ Cinderella's Castle last night. Apparently during wishes, one of the large shells fired from right above Stitch's Great Escape misfired and shot through a window and caused a 3 alarm fire on most of the top half of the castle. There were supposedly no injuries but the entire Royal Table restaraunt was destroyed. This happened right as Tink was taking her flight and crews had to stop her in mid air to prevent her from flying right into a gulf of flames. Reedy Creek was dispatched to help her down, took about 5 hours.
Sad thing was that since this happened during Wishes, there was trouble getting the fire trucks to the castle in time and alot of the nostalgic castle was destroyed. I can't believe this as much as I try. It's like I'm in the twilight zone, or maybe it's just April Fool's.
