"Finishing" the Monorail

God bless the "Ignore" button.

I know Disney has other, more vital things to spend money on, but is making the monorail run to all four parks anywhere on the list? It's such an iconic part of WDW, but doesn't even go to all parks.

Nope, not going to happen.

WDW is always looking at new ways to expand the transportation system, but the monorail has a slim chance of being expanded.

Okay. I have another random monorail question that I don't want to start another thread for. I was talking to someone who works at IAH Bush airport in Houston, TX and I was complaining about the rediculously slow train they have that moves people between terminals. Honestly, I could walk faster than this thing.

Anyway, the guy told me that the train is actually an old monorail that they bought from one of the them parks (he couldn't remember if it was land or world). Is there any truth to that at all?

In the book "Epcot Center Creating the New World of Tomorrow" it says that IAH was the first place outside of WDW to use the People Movers.

I believe it was a WEDWay PeopleMover system that IAH purchased- probably 15 or 20 years ago.
