Heh, that's exactly what I was thinking.

I like the whole idea of the "tree topping," it's interesting.

I knew about flags being placed on construction but not plants??? Does anyone know the origin of these traditions.??

Actually it has to do with the construction process itself. The trees are usually placed by the iron workers that put up the structural steel framing and are used to help gauge wind. I can't remember all of the points, but I had asked DH about this some years ago (construction engineer).

I think that this is going to be a great show. The song they did was wonderful and is exactly the kind of song that is need for the opening of a Musical. It set up the story, pulls you in to the show, very discriptive to give a picture in your mind, and moves the plot along. I have high hopes for this show!
