Is anyone else surprised that you can still buy an Reflections of Earth CD with TAPESTRY OF NATIONS on it??? All the parks still sell them as well as World of Disney.

I guess they don't want to spend the money to put out a solo Reflections of Earth soundtrack.

I think those are the old ones that they still have. Not just the ones that they had before they stop ToN or ToD

From what I heard last night the CD won't come out for another year. Sad but true.

And your source is...? And please don't say a CM.

Because, if the CD isn't released for a year...I...I...I wouldn't know what to do. My ascending collection of Robert Lopez music (beginning with Avenue Q) is demanding it NOW!...:brick:

Not to mention Cinderellabration is still on sale...still at $18.95. I don't think anybody bought the cd when the show was being performed, let alone now. The Suite of Dreams cd is still available, all with outdated parade music. Fantasmic "as recorded in 1997" is still on shelves. I really wish they would put some new music out.
-Disney Dreams Come True parade
-Hallowishes/Boo to You
-Holly-Day Parade
-Dream Along with Mickey (and other YOMD atmosphere shows)

I'm lucky enough to have these tracks from various sources, but I would still like to see them on a cd and for sale.

And I'm hoping Pirates and Princess Parties will bring some good parade/fireworks music, but we'll have to see.

It makes no sense for it to come out in a year. I believe it is already done, it just needs to be distributed.

Hopefully it's not like Wishes. The soundtrack was sitting in the warehouse for MONTHS before it was finally released.

Yessir, you are correct. One of my friends had the CD over the summer. I had the privilige to listen to the tracks. They really do sound amazing. The cast of the CD is GREAT!!! I know most of you may not believe me but trust me. The same CD that is going to be released was the CD I listened to in the Summer. The friend lives in New York and is friends with many of the Producers, including the wonderful man from Avenue Q, which is how he got the CD. It should be out soon, I would think, I mean, all they have to do is copy the CD thousands of times, right??? Thank you for listening to this WDWMPSA (WDW Magic Public Service Announcement).

It was one of the CMs that work at the AC and that also works at the Musical. One of the people that do Bruce.

Oh, really? Wait 'til Disney sees the lines and the filled-at-capacity showings for this one, and I think they'll go the High School Musical route, aka "strike the iron while it's hot"...

Not for nothing, but I am in the professional theatre biz, and releasing a Cast Album for this 33 minute show (with less than 20 minutes of music in it) makes absolutely no sense.

I like the music in the show - the cast is phenomenal, the costumes and sets the real attraction here, though -- I am sure there will eventually be an album that includes some of the music from the show, but as to a true "cast album" -um, well....

Well, look at some of the other soundtracks released that are about the same time or less: Cinderellabration, Wishes, Illuminations, Spectro, ect (and the music for CSC was put on a soundtrack).

So I am sure that a soundtrack for Nemo will come out.

However they never released one for Tarzan Rocks either which I always thought they should have. Could it be that there is a "Curse Of The Theatre In The Wild?" Stay tuned!

Tarzan Rocks was just the music from the movie. Maybe there was an issue with rights and Phil Collins. They did release a CD for The Festival Of The Lion King.

I know for a fact that the recording you heard over the summer was only a demo. Most of the voices on it are Bobby and Kristen Lopez and the orchestra was all keyboard patches (which sound great). The CD album was recorded in October with a full orchestra. Bobby Lopez voices Marlin and Kristen still voices Dory. The rest of the voices are from the NY workshop production with the exception of Crush who is in the show now. Not sure when the official release date is but I have a copy of it :king: .
