Finding Nemo: The Musical closing for 2 weeks in February 2018

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
I love this show so much. It is the closest thing to Broadway that Disney has gotten to (outside of Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, and that new Frozen show that replaced it in Disneyland.) As a current Theatre Arts major in college myself, I can really appreciate the amount of talent that goes into these actors that have to both act as a normal person AND operate puppetry at the same time! It is really impressive!

This is definitely interesting! The cast I saw in July was awful (except for Dory and Bruce). However, the different cast I saw over Fall Break was amazing!!! I guess they have to keep things fresh! I'm sure they could also be working maybe some upgrades like the microphones and touching up the puppetry and costumes and whatnot. A show running constantly as often as it does needs a couple of weeks over a time span of a few years to re-vamp it up/upgrade it. Technically speaking. It would also make sense to update the cast are hire some new understudies/double cast.

I'm sure you guys know that there is no way Disney only has ONE cast for this show, right? For ANY of their shows. I'm SURE you guys know that that would literally be impossible. These shows have to be double cast, I swear.

There are multiple people for each role.

Hated that show as a kid. It was hot, and I thought it was the most boring thing in the world... Looking at YouTube videos of it now aaaand.. Nah. It's still boring. I'm sorry, I literally get personally offended when people praise that show. I don't know what it had going for it outside of just a weird musical review and the skating monkeys. It's the only attraction that has ever existed that makes my blood boil! Hated it!

Your opinion is valued though, don't get me wrong.
But Crush's song is good

I know every day there's two sets of casts that split the shows, so with that in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if theres at least 4 complete casts on their roster. The cast I just saw last week was top notch! Wish I knew who the performers were

Far more than two actually. Disney actually has casts of performers that they move throughout the parks when needed. Nemo is one of those shows that has different performers regularly.

Management is probably putting the show on hiatus for those 2 weeks to prepare the new cast for their new roles. Either way, I’ll be a-ok with Nemo getting lost in Yesterland.

Yet, you’re missing the point that the show is going on hiatus for 2 weeks. Obviously, it’s for a reason and I’m predicting it has to do with the major roles that need to be filled.
Yet, you're missing the point that major roles are replaced and filled all the time. The show does not need to go on hiatus to do this. The show has been operating for about a decade now and hundreds of performers have come and gone in that time. Obviously, it's for a different reason. Most likely routine work on the facility or equipment. Less likely updates/changes to the show.

I don’t see that being the case. Nice touch with mocking me. Can I say... triggered? Grow up.

I'm not trying to mock you.

Why don't you see that being the case? Refurbishments are generally always for facilty or equipment work. They take an attraction down when something needs done that can't be done during normal operation. Decades of Disney shows running around the world have proven that they do not need to go on hiatus to swap out cast. If these shows had to go down every time a major role had a new performer we would see these types of downtimes multiple times a year.

Still wish they would take out out Primeval Whirl and put in Crush's Coaster from Paris next to it and make it a land themed to represent the sea creatures of the animal kingdom.

Broadway shows don't close for two weeks to replace lead cast members. Though the closure will probably be used to rehearse new cast members, its most likely gonna be to do refurbs to the building and hardware of the theatre like @peter11435 said

How long has it been since this building had a spruce up? 10 years I bet? Nothing going to change here I would be willing to bet with the exception of a nice paint job or two in places, some upgrades to sound boards, lighting, and computers
