Hmmm - it's called Animal Kingdom - not Aquatic Kingdom. Oh well, I'm sure Disney will do it up right.

I'm sad to see Tarzan go...it seemed to fit a musical, theatrical show so well...stunts, acrobatics, dancers, awesome characters, action, brilliant Phil Collins music. I thought it brought the power and emotions of the film to life--it was truly wild. The message of family fits in so well with WDW.

Nemo, while a wonderful flick with a family message, doesn't strike me as a musical show. There were no songs in the film itself, only a couple in the credits like "Beyond the Sea". I also wonder how it will translate to stage in every other aspect. I'll give it a chance though...I'm just glad I got to see Tarzan Rocks on my last visit. :(

That's so great.

On a similar note, I can't even count how many times in my life people have said to me "Bugs aren't in the animal kingdom--they're insects!" :veryconfu That amazes me.

I would just love to see SOMETHING Brother Bear at Disney...

Me too. I liked Brother Bear, Emperor's New Groove, and Treasure Planet as much as any other animated films and yet they all get no praise.

Animal - A multicellular organism of the kingdom Animalia, differing from plants in certain typical characteristics such as capacity for locomotion, nonphotosynthetic metabolism, pronounced response to stimuli, restricted growth, and fixed bodily structure.
Animals range from worms to sea sponges to small organisms.

To answer the people wondering about Nemo songs, it doesn't say that this new show will be a musical. I'm thinking of it as a "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" but just acting out scenes from the movie.

I am sad to see Tarzan go as well, but I do love Nemo. I think this may be a great show, I hope it is. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I love Ellen, that would be awesome if they did use her voice.

i know I'm in the minority on this, but the show sounds GREAT! I'm not sure that the placement (geographically) is the best spot, but the show sounds like it could have a lot of potential!

For those doubting a show with puppets, think about the themeing of an underwater show! With blacklight puppets, Disney will be able to almost flawlessly pull off the "under water and swimming" effects!

I can't wait to see Nemo, Dory and Crush thrilling and pulling laughter from Guests of all ages! We will wait and see!

i will be there in june, and would love to see it...

I like the idea. I am going either Sept - Nov - or Dec. Maybe this will make me push my visit back just a bit...

I don't think they will use Ellen because they didn't use her for Turtle talk. It was someone elses voice. I also think the idea of black light puppets is very cute, but it's been done already with Ariel.

I think it sounds cool. I love the little Mermaid Show with the puppets & black light and I think this will be just as good if not better. We tried Tarzan Rocks on 3 separate occasions and walked out every time--we hated it!! I look forward to seeing something new there.

UPDATE!!!!!!

I don't post here much but I figured this was kind of important...

I auditioned for Disney as a dancer this past December and got the job.I'll be heading down there around June. I've been lucky enough to get a hold of a few dancers from Tarzan Rocks (or what used to be)...and they've been filling me in on what I should and expect and whatnot through emails.

ANYWAY! Here's the news...the dancers have confirmed to me that YES, Nemo is on the way but not for a couple of months. A lot of construction has yet to go on. I guess all the rumors were true. Enclosed theatre, new music, etc etc...

I'm hoping to be in it...we'll see! But I figured I'd share the news...this kind of confirms it wouldn't you say?

I apologize if it's already been confirmed but I didn't feel like reading however many pages there were.

Oh well, Take care with lots of love! - TinTin
